本发明提供一种乙烯-辛烯共聚物发泡材料的制备方法,在双螺杆挤出机中,加入在高速搅拌机上混合均匀的乙烯-辛烯共聚物POE、抗氧剂、填料、发泡助剂、软化油、脱模剂和发泡成核剂的混合物,在一定温度和转速下挤出造粒,得到的初混物再与发泡剂和架桥剂在开炼机上混合均匀出片,最后将样片置入模具中,在硫化机机上进行模压发泡,制得POE泡沫材料。本发明方法制备的乙烯-辛烯热塑性弹性体发泡材料具有密度可控、柔软性好、力学均衡性好、耐化学腐蚀、易加工、制品可回收利用等优异性能,可用作救生衣浮力材料、仪表板衬垫、车门护板衬垫、保温材料、密封垫、包装材料和汽车顶棚材料等。

本发明涉及一种乙烯-辛烯共聚物发泡材料的制备方法,采用模压化学发泡法,并通过原料配制和工艺条件的控制,制备密度可控、柔软性好、综合性能优异的乙烯-辛烯热塑性弹性体发泡材料。本发明属于聚合物加工技术领域。
背景技术
乙烯-辛烯共聚物(POE)是一种用茂金属催化剂催化合成的新型的热塑性弹性体,由于其分子链结构的特殊性,相对于其他弹性体而言,具有优异的耐候性、透明性和可塑性,质量轻,相对价格较低,具有广阔的应用前景;但其本身主要当作增韧改性剂应用于聚合物改性领域以及与各种橡胶弹性体的共混材料,如增韧聚丙烯、聚乙烯、尼龙、聚酯、聚氨酯、ABS树脂与乙丙橡胶共混材料等;其它方面的应用及研究则较少。
泡沫塑料的应用在工业和日常生活中非常广泛,如用于绝热、绝缘、结构、减震、漂浮材料、隔音材料、过滤介质、包装、气垫、室内装饰材料等。常见树脂的泡沫材料种类主要有聚氨酯、聚苯乙烯、聚氯乙稀、聚丙烯、聚乙烯、乙烯-醋酸乙烯酯共聚物、乙丙橡胶等等,相对于乙烯-醋酸乙烯酯共聚物、乙丙橡胶等弹性体。而对于POE泡沫材料的开发,国内外基本上处于刚刚起步阶段,只有少量的文献将POE做为其它泡沫塑料的改性剂而提到(如专利CN200510034303.6;沈友良,周晓安,胡萍,中国塑料,2002,16(5):41-43;Young-Wook Chang,Polym Int,2006,55:184-189等),对于以POE为基体的发泡材料的研究涉及较少。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于针对现有以POE为基体的发泡材料研究的空白,提供一种乙烯-辛烯共聚物发泡材料的制备方法,工艺简单,得到的发泡材料柔软性好、密度可控,具有优异的综合性能,进而能扩大材料新型热塑性弹性体POE的应用范围。
为实现这样的目的,本发明采用模压化学发泡法,并通过原料的配制以及工艺条件的控制来制备POE发泡材料。如果单纯用POE和发泡剂进行发泡,由于POE的熔点和熔体密度低而难于得到发泡材料。因而通过加入发泡助剂、填料、抗氧剂、软化油、脱模剂和发泡成核剂来改变POE的熔体性质和调节发泡剂的分解温度,最终制备出POE发泡材料。为了使POE与发泡助剂、填料、抗氧剂、软化油、脱模剂和发泡成核剂混合均匀,将高速搅拌机上混合均匀的混合物在双螺杆挤出机中进行挤出造粒,这样可以得到各组分混合均匀的初混物,而且与通常的密炼机混合相比又有便于连续化生产的优势,将初混物再与发泡剂和架桥剂在开炼机上混合均匀出片,最后将样片置入模具中,在硫化机上进行模压发泡,制得密度可控、柔软性好和综合性能优异的POE发泡材料,可用做救生衣浮力材料、仪表板衬垫、车门护板衬垫、保温材料、密封垫、包装材料和汽车顶棚材料等。
本发明的方法具体为:按重量计,原料组分为:60-98份乙烯-辛烯共聚物POE、抗氧剂0.1-5份、填料0.5-35份、发泡助剂0.5-30份、软化油0.5-15份、脱模剂0-5份、发泡成核剂0.1-5份、发泡剂0.5-20份和架桥剂0.1-8份,各成分总和为100份。首先将除发泡剂和架桥剂以外的各组分在高速搅拌机上混合均匀,高速搅拌机的转速为3000-10000转/分钟,然后将混合物料在双螺杆挤出机中挤出造粒,螺杆温度为40-240℃,转速为90-600转/分钟,物料在螺杆中的停留时间为1-10分钟,挤出的物料冷却后,经切粒机切粒,得到粒料,在真空烘箱中40-100℃干燥6-35小时,得到初混物,然后将发泡剂、架桥剂和初混物在40-100℃开炼机上混合均匀制成片材,最后将所有组分都混合好的片材置于模具中,在130-220℃的硫化机上进行模压发泡5-30分钟,制得POE发泡材料。
本发明所述的抗氧剂是硫代二丙酸二月桂酯(抗氧剂DLTP)、亚磷酸三苯酯、三(2,4-二叔丁基苯基)亚磷酸酯(抗氧剂168)、四[β-(3’,5’-二叔丁基-4’-羟基苯基)丙酸]季戊四醇酯(抗氧剂1010)、N,N′-双[3-(3,5-二叔丁基-4-羟基苯基)丙酰]肼(抗氧剂1098)、2,6-二叔丁基-4-甲基苯酚(抗氧剂264)或4,4’-(β,β’-二羟基二丙氧苯基)2,2-丙烷(双酚A),取其中的两种或两种以上组分的混合物。
本发明所述的填料为二氧化硅、碳酸钙、高岭土、粘土、硅灰石、滑石粉或云母,或是它们的混合物。
本发明所述的发泡助剂是硬脂酸、硬脂酸锌、硬脂酸钙、氧化锌、二氧化钛或氧化镁,或是它们的混合物。
本发明所述的软化油为环烷油或白蜡油,或是它们的混合物。
本发明所述的脱模剂为硅油、硅酯或硅酮,或是它们的混合物。
本发明所述的发泡成核剂为山梨酸钾或柠檬酸钠,或是它们的混合物。
本发明所述的发泡剂是磺酰肼类发泡剂如OBSH、偶氮类发泡剂如AC或ACDC、无机类发泡剂如碳酸氢钠或是它们的复合物。
本发明所述的架桥剂是偶氮二异丁氰AIBN、过氧化二异丙苯DCP、苯甲酰胺BPO或特丁基过氧化物TBP,或是它们的混合物。
本发明方法简单,所制得的POE发泡材料具有密度可控、柔软性好、力学均衡性好、耐化学腐蚀、易加工、制品可回收利用等优异性能,可用作救生衣浮力材料、仪表板衬垫、车门护板衬垫、保温材料、密封垫、包装材料和汽车顶棚材料等,不仅扩大了POE的用途,同时也为发泡材料增加了新的一员。
具体实施方式
以下通过具体的实施例对本发明的技术方案作进一步描述。以下实施例是对本发明的进一步说明,而不是限制本发明的范围。
实施例1
原料组分按重量计为:60份POE、3份抗氧剂1098、7份抗氧剂264、填料滑石粉20份、发泡助剂氧化锌2份、软化油环烷油3份、发泡成核剂山梨酸钾1份、发泡剂OBSH3份、架桥剂AIBN1份。
先将POE、抗氧剂1010、抗氧剂264、填料滑石粉、发泡助剂氧化锌、软化油、发泡成核剂在高速搅拌机上混合均匀,高速搅拌机的转速为3000转/分钟,然后将混合物料放入双螺杆挤出机中挤出制成粒料,螺杆温度为40/60/100/120/140/140℃,转速为150转/分钟,物料在螺杆中的停留时间为3分钟,挤出的物料冷却后,经切粒机切粒,得到粒料,在真空烘箱中50℃干燥35小时,然后将烘好的物料与发泡剂OBSH、架桥剂AIBN在50℃开炼机上混合均匀出片,最后将制好的片放入模具中,在120℃硫化机上模压发泡25分钟,制得密度为0.3g/cm3的泡孔均匀的发泡材料。
实施例2
原料组分按重量计为:95份POE、0.05份抗氧剂1098、0.05份抗氧剂DLTP、填料二氧化硅1份、发泡助剂硬脂酸钙0.5份、软化油环烷油0.2份和白蜡油0.3份、发泡成核剂柠檬酸钠0.5份、发泡剂碳酸氢钠2份、0.4份架桥剂DCP。
先将POE、抗氧剂1098、抗氧剂DLTP、填料二氧化硅、发泡助剂硬脂酸钙、软化油环烷油和白蜡油、发泡成核剂柠檬酸钠在高速搅拌机上混合均匀,高速搅拌机的转速为6000转/分钟,然后将混合物料放入双螺杆挤出机中挤出制成粒料,螺杆温度为60/80/120/150/160/160℃,转速为180转/分钟,物料在螺杆中的停留时间为2分钟,挤出的物料冷却后,经切粒机切粒,得到粒料,在真空烘箱中60℃干燥20小时,然后将烘好的物料与发泡剂、架桥剂在70℃开炼机上混合均匀出片,最后将制好的片放入模具中,在140℃硫化机上模压发泡5分钟,制得密度为0.4g/cm3的泡孔均匀的发泡材料。
实施例3
原料组分按重量计为:70份POE、1份抗氧剂DLTP、2份抗氧剂168、填料硅灰石10份、发泡助剂硬脂酸锌1份、软化油白蜡油5份、发泡成核剂柠檬酸钠1份、8份发泡剂AC、2份架桥剂DCP。
先将POE7、抗氧剂DLTP、抗氧剂168、填料硅灰石、发泡助剂硬脂酸锌、软化油白蜡油、发泡成核剂柠檬酸钠在高速搅拌机上混合均匀,高速搅拌机的转速为8000转/分钟,然后将混合物料放入双螺杆挤出机中挤出制成粒料,螺杆温度为80/100/120/150/170/165℃,转速为90转/分钟,物料在螺杆中的停留时间为8分钟,挤出的物料冷却后,经切粒机切粒,得到粒料,在真空烘箱中80℃干燥6小时,然后将烘好的物料与发泡剂AC、架桥剂DCP在80℃开炼机上混合均匀出片,最后将制好的片放入模具中,在190℃硫化机上模压发泡15分钟,制得密度为0.06g/cm3的泡孔均匀的发泡材料。
从实施例的结果可以看出,本发明通过改变组成和工艺条件可以制备具有不同密度的POE发泡材料,有着广阔的应用及工业化前景。
Claims (9)
1、一种乙烯-辛烯共聚物发泡材料的制备方法,其特征在于:原料组分按重量计为:60-98份乙烯-辛烯共聚物、抗氧剂0.1-5份、填料0.5-35份、发泡助剂0.5-30份、软化油0.5-15份、脱模剂0-5份、发泡成核剂0.1-5份、发泡剂0.5-20份和架桥剂0.1-8份;首先将除发泡剂和架桥剂以外的各组分在高速搅拌机上混合均匀,高速搅拌机的转速为3000-10000转/分钟,然后将混合物料在双螺杆挤出机中挤出造粒,螺杆温度为40-240℃,转速为90-600转/分钟,物料在螺杆中的停留时间为1-10分钟,挤出的物料冷却后,经切粒机切粒,得到粒料,在真空烘箱中40-100℃干燥6-35小时,得到初混物,然后将发泡剂、架桥剂和初混物在40-100℃开炼机上混合均匀制成片材,最后将所有组分都混合好的片材置于模具中,在130-220℃的硫化机上进行模压发泡5-30分钟,制得乙烯-辛烯热塑性弹性体发泡材料。
2、根据权利要求1的乙烯-辛烯共聚物发泡材料的制备方法,其特征在于所述的抗氧剂是抗氧剂DLTP、抗氧剂168、抗氧剂1010、抗氧剂1098、抗氧剂264、双酚A,取其中的两种组分或两种以上组分的混合物。
3、根据权利要求1的乙烯-辛烯共聚物发泡材料的制备方法,其特征在于所述的填料为二氧化硅、碳酸钙、高岭土、粘土、硅灰石、滑石粉或云母,或是它们的混合物。
4、根据权利要求1的乙烯-辛烯共聚物发泡材料的制备方法,其特征在于所述的发泡助剂是硬脂酸、硬脂酸锌、硬脂酸钙、氧化锌、二氧化钛或氧化镁,或是它们的混合物。
5、根据权利要求1的乙烯-辛烯共聚物发泡材料的制备方法,其特征在于所述的软化油为环烷油或白蜡油,或是它们的混合物。
6、根据权利要求1的乙烯-辛烯共聚物发泡材料的制备方法,其特征在于所述的脱模剂为硅油、硅酯或硅酮,或是它们的混合物。
7、根据权利要求1的乙烯-辛烯共聚物发泡材料的制备方法,其特征在于所述的发泡成核剂为山梨酸钾或柠檬酸钠,或是它们的混合物。
8、根据权利要求1的乙烯-辛烯共聚物发泡材料的制备方法,其特征在于所述的发泡剂是磺酰肼类发泡剂、偶氮类发泡剂或无机类发泡剂,或是它们的复合物。
9、根据权利要求1的乙烯-辛烯共聚物发泡材料的制备方法,其特征在于所述的架桥剂是偶氮二异丁氰、过氧化二异丙苯、苯甲酰胺或特丁基过氧化物,或是它们的混合物。
