Abstract
Se presentan cepas de Lactobacillus kunkeei y Bifidobacterium asteroides y su uso para elaborar una formulación probiótica bioestimulante para abejas, estas cepas se encuentran depositadas en la Colección Chilena de Recursos Genéticos Microbianos (CChRGM) y permiten reducir las cargas de dos patógenos importantes de las abejas, Nosema ceranae Fries (Microsporidia) y el virus de las alas deformadas (DWV), lo que significa una reducción del 63% de mortalidad de abejas en la colonia infectadas con ambos patógenos, incrementando hasta en un 160% la poblacional de abejas dentro de la colonia, comparadas con aquellas no tratadas.
