Abstract

SE DESCRIBE UN SISTEMA Y MÉTODO PARA LA DETECCIÓN Y EL PROCESAMIENTO AUTOMATIZADOS EN TIEMPO REAL DE MENSAJES COMERCIALES, COMUNICADOS DE SERVICIO PUBLICO O SEGMENTOS DE PROGRAMACIÓN DE TV REPETIDOS Y DE CORTA DURACIÓN SIMILARES QUE TIENEN LUGAR EN UNO O MÁS FLUJOS DE VIDEO DIFUNDIDOS. SE UTILIZA UN PROCESO QUE IDENTIFICA POSIBLES SEGMENTOS DE ANUNCIOS PUBLICITARIOS MEDIANTE LA IDENTIFICACIÓN DE UNOS SEGMENTOS DE VIDEO DISCRETOS QUE TIENEN UNAS DURACIONES CORTAS ESPECIFICAS ENTRE OTROS ATRIBUTOS. SE CONSIDERA QUE ES PROBABLE QUE LOS SEGMENTOS DE VIDEO QUE PARECEN TENER ESTAS CARACTERISTICAS SEAN ANUNCIOS PUBLICITARIOS DE TELEVISION, PROMOCIONES O COMUNICADOS DE SERVICIO PUBLICO Y SE ALMACENAN EN UNA BASE DE DATOS DE ANUNCIOS DE TV QUE ESTA SEPARADA DE LA BASE DE DATOS DE CONTENIDO DE TELEVISION PRIMARIO. EL VIDEO ENTRANTE A PARTIR DE UNA PLURALIDAD DE FUENTES DE PROGRAMACIÓN DE TELEVISION SE PROCESA PARA DAR HUELLAS DIGITALES Y SE COLOCA EN UNA BASE DE DATOS DE CONTENIDO DE TV MAESTRO. AL MISMO TIEMPO, DICHA PROGRAMACIÓN ENTRANTE SE SOMETE A PRUEBA EN BUSCA DE COINCIDENCIAS EN UNA BASE DE DATOS DE ANUNCIOS DE TV. SI SE HALLA UNA COINCIDENCIA, ENTONCES EL ANUNCIO DE TV SUPUESTO SE RETIRA DE LA BASE DE DATOS DE CONTENIDO MAESTRO.A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REAL-TIME AUTOMATED DETECTION AND PROCESSING OF COMMERCIAL MESSAGES, COMMUNICATED PUBLIC SERVICE COMMUNICATIONS, OR SIMULAR SHORT-TERM TV PROGRAMMING SEGMENTS THAT HAVE A PLACE IN ONE OR MORE FLUID VIDEO ARE DESCRIBED. A PROCESS THAT IDENTIFIES POSSIBLE ADVERTISEMENT SEGMENTS IS USED THROUGH THE IDENTIFICATION OF DISCRETE VIDEO SEGMENTS THAT HAVE SOME SPECIFIC SHORT DURATIONS BETWEEN OTHER ATTRIBUTES. IT IS CONSIDERABLE THAT THE VIDEO SEGMENTS THAT APPEAR TO HAVE THESE FEATURES ARE LIKELY TO BE TELEVISION ADVERTISEMENTS, PROMOTIONS OR COMMUNICATIONS OF PUBLIC SERVICE AND ARE STORED IN A DATABASE OF TV ADVERTISEMENTS THAT IS SEPARATED FROM THE DATABASE OF DATABASE PRIMARY TELEVISION. THE VIDEO INPUT FROM A PLURALITY OF TELEVISION PROGRAMMING SOURCES IS PROCESSED TO GIVE DIGITAL FOOTPRINTS AND IS PLACED IN A MASTER TV CONTENT DATABASE. AT THE SAME TIME, SUCH INPUT PROGRAMMING IS SUBJECT TO TESTING IN SEARCH OF MATCHES IN A DATABASE OF TV ADS. IF A COINCIDENCE IS FINDED, THEN THE ASSUMED TV ANNOUNCEMENT IS REMOVED FROM THE MASTER CONTENT DATABASE.
