Description

  

  Bocal en verre pour conserves.    L'objet de la présente invention est un  bocal en verre pour conserves. Ce bocal  comporte une fermeture composée de deux  couvercles, dont l'un, intérieur, se pose par  exemple soit à plat, soit à emboîtement sur  le bord du récipient muni d'une rondelle  formant joint, et dont l'autre, extérieur, s'em  boîte sur la partie supérieure du récipient et  s'appuie sur le couvercle intérieur par un  mamelon central, dont est munie sa face  plane intérieure.  



  Le dessin annexé, donné à titre d'exemple,  représente une forme d'exécution de l'objet  de l'invention       Fig.    1 est une coupe verticale d'un bocal  fermé, le couvercle intérieur étant posé à  plat sur le bord du bocal;       Fig.    2 est une vue en plan du bocal  proprement dit, et       Fig.    3 une coupe verticale d'un bocal  fermé, dont le couvercle     intérieur        est    posé à  emboîtement sur le bord du bocal.  



  Le bocal ou récipient 1 qui peut être en  verre,     céramique,    fonte ou toute autre matière  plastique durcissant après moulage, possède  une partie rétrécie supérieure 2, munie à sa    face extérieure de nervures saillantes 3 in  clinées à la façon d'un pas de vis.  



  Sur le bord plat de ce bocal se pose une  rondelle 4 en caoutchouc ou toute autre  matière appropriée, et sur cette rondelle 4  se place le couvercle intérieur 5, fait de la  même matière que le bocal.  



  Sur le couvercle intérieur 5 se pose un  disque en matière souple 6, qui peut recevoir  des inscriptions servant de réclame.  



  Le couvercle extérieur 7 possède sur sa  face plane     intérieure    un mamelon central 8  et sur sa face cylindrique un rebord 9 destiné  à s'accrocher, comme le ferait un filet de vis,  sous les nervures saillantes 3 du bocal, lorsque  le couvercle 7 est emboîté sur le bocal, de  sorte que dès lors une fraction de tour suffit  pour serrer le couvercle 7 sur le bocal, le  mamelon central 8 s'appuyant alors sur le  couvercle intérieur 5 pour assurer une étan  chéité parfaite et durable.  



  Lorsque le bord du bocal est plat comme  l'indique la     fig.    1, il faut pour obtenir une  fermeture étanche, que ce bord soit parfaite  ment rodé dans le plan perpendiculaire à  l'axe vertical du bocal.      Ce travail supplémentaire peut être évité  en munissant le bord du bocal d'un petit  rebord saillant 10     (fig.    3) et le bord du cou  vercle intérieur 5 d'un autre rebord 11, de  telle sorte que ces rebords 10 et 11 s'em  boîtent l'un sur l'autre     lorsqne    le couvercle 5  est placé sur le bocal. Une rondelle en  caoutchouc 4 assure l'étanchéité du joint  comme dans le premier cas.



  Glass jar for preserves. The object of the present invention is a glass jar for preserves. This jar has a closure made up of two lids, one of which, inside, is placed for example either flat or interlocking on the edge of the container provided with a washer forming a seal, and the other, outside, s 'em box on the upper part of the container and rests on the inner cover by a central nipple, with which its inner flat face is provided.



  The appended drawing, given by way of example, represents an embodiment of the object of the invention. 1 is a vertical section of a closed jar, the inner lid being laid flat on the rim of the jar; Fig. 2 is a plan view of the jar itself, and FIG. 3 a vertical section of a closed jar, the inner lid of which is fitted to fit on the edge of the jar.



  The jar or container 1 which can be made of glass, ceramic, cast iron or any other plastic material which hardens after molding, has an upper narrowed part 2, provided on its outer face with projecting ribs 3 in clinched in the manner of a screw thread .



  On the flat edge of this jar is placed a washer 4 of rubber or any other suitable material, and on this washer 4 is placed the inner cover 5, made of the same material as the jar.



  A flexible material disc 6 is placed on the inner cover 5, which can receive inscriptions serving as an advertisement.



  The outer cover 7 has on its inner flat face a central nipple 8 and on its cylindrical face a rim 9 intended to hook, like a screw thread, under the projecting ribs 3 of the jar, when the cover 7 is fitted. on the jar, so that from then on a fraction of a turn is sufficient to tighten the cover 7 on the jar, the central nipple 8 then resting on the inner cover 5 to ensure a perfect and lasting seal.



  When the edge of the jar is flat as shown in fig. 1, in order to obtain a tight seal, this edge must be perfectly ground in the plane perpendicular to the vertical axis of the jar. This additional work can be avoided by providing the edge of the jar with a small projecting rim 10 (fig. 3) and the rim of the inner cover 5 with another rim 11, so that these rims 10 and 11 s' em box on top of each other when the lid 5 is placed on the jar. A rubber washer 4 seals the seal as in the first case.

Claims

CLAIM Glass jar for preserves, characterized by a closure made up of an inner lid which is placed on the edge of the container provided with a washer forming a seal, and an outer lid which fits over the upper part of the container and s' pressing on the inner cover by a central nipple, with which its inner flat face is provided. SUB-CLAIMS 1 Jar according to claim, characterized by a rim (9) of the outer cover, this rim being intended to hook under inclined ribs (3) of the container in order to tighten said cover on the latter by a fraction of a turn printed on the cover.

2 Jar according to claim, characterized by a projecting rim (10) from the edge of the container and a rim (11) of the inner cover, these two flanges being arranged so as to fit together when the inner cover is placed on the container.
