Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen vorzugsweise elastisch ausgeführten, zum Rückenbereich hin offenen Hydromassagegurt (1), in den ein Gehäuse (2) mit eingebautem Düsenrohrsystem (3) integriert ist, welches über einen vorzugsweise gelenkigen Schraubanschlussstutzen (5) mit Überlauf (9) verfügt, an dem ein herkömmlicher Duschschlauch (6) angebracht und am anderen Ende über einen Luftinjektor (7) oder direkt an der Mischbatterie einer Bad/Dusch-Armatur (8) befestigt wird. Durch Öffnen der Mischbatterie gelangt Wasser mit einem bestimmten Überdruck ins Düsenrohrsystem (3) und strömt durch die Bohrungen (4) in den Innenraum des Gehäuses (2), wodurch wahlweise – je nach Art des Anbringens des Hydromassagegurtes (1) am Körper – entweder eine direkte Wasserstrahlmassage bei unten auslaufendem Wasser oder eine indirekte Massage über ein sich im Gehäuse (2) aufbauendes Wasserbad mit oben überlaufendem Wasser erreicht wird, wobei die Massagewirkung durch zusätzliches Einlassen von Luft in das Düsenrohrsystem (3) intensiviert werden kann. Das Düsenrohrsystem (3) selbst verfügt über mehrere, in unterschiedlichen Richtungen angeordnete Bohrungen (4) und einen Schraubanschlussstutzen (5) für dir direkte Montage eines herkömmlichen Duschschlauches (6) oder die Montage eines solchen über ein dazwischen angebrachtes Drehgelenk. Der Schraubanschlussstutzen (5) wird so ausgeführt, dass er an der oberen Seite des Gehäuses (2) aus diesem herausragt. [0006] Die Funktionsweise der gesamten Vorrichtung beruht darauf, dass der Hydromassagegurt (1 ) zuerst an die Mischbatterie der Bad/Dusch-Armatur (8) angeschlossen wird und an dieser in Stellung «Duschen» die gewünschte Durchflussmenge und Temperatur des ausströmenden Wassers eingestellt werden. Dies ermöglicht insbesondere auch ein Vorwärmen des gesamten Massagesystems (Duschschlauch, Düsenrohrsystem, Gehäuse), wodurch eine Schockwirkung durch falsch temperiertes Wasser vermieden wird. Dabei spritzt das Wasser aus den im Düsenrohrsystem (3) angebrachten Bohrungen (4).
