Description
The present invention relates to an accessory for rental sports shoes, in particular for ski boots.
Many people who ski ski hire skis and boots, especially those who ski only a few days a year. Among these people, there are many who are reluctant to put on a shoe previously worn by third parties, either because of the odor with which the comfort of the shoe was soaked or because of fears of yeast infections.
The object of the invention is to remedy this drawback by means of an accessory.
The accessory according to the invention has the characteristics listed in claim 1. It is characterized in that it consists of a first sock provided with a flexible rod, so as to form a disposable sock after use .
In the case of a shoe fitted with a comfort boot, such as a ski boot, the accessory according to the invention is therefore not intended to replace the comfort boot, but to be inserted into such a slipper.
The first cleanliness is advantageously thermoformable at low temperature so that it can be formed at the foot of the user by the rental company.
The sock may be intended to be placed in the shoe before fitting. In this case, its stem will be split over part of its height to allow the boot to be put on.
The sock may also be intended to be put on the foot like a sock before putting on. In this case, the rod does not need to be split and can consist of a simple knit.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the invention.
The only figure in the drawing represents a perspective view.
The accessory shown comprises a first cleanliness 1 consisting, in known manner, of a sole made of thermoformable cellular plastic material coated with a synthetic fabric. On the sole 1 is fixed, for example by sewing, a rod 2 split along a line 3 extending over part of the height of the rod, on the side thereof, from the top, then on the neck of foot. On one side of the slot 3 is fixed one of the elements 4 of a Velcro closure (registered trademark) and on the other side of the slot 3 is fixed the other element 5 of this Velcro closure.
The rod 2 is for example made of synthetic foam internally coated with a knitted layer. The stem of the accessory according to the invention could be executed in different more or less sophisticated ways. The material of the rod could be an insulating or transpiring material or a material adjustable by thermoforming or other methods known to the foot of the user. The upper could be provided with means for adhering to the comfort boot of the ski boot so as to open with this boot.
In its simplest execution, the upper of the accessory could be simply knitted or in elastic material of the neoprene type so that it can be put on the foot before putting on.
The accessory can advantageously be provided with a means of attachment to the shoe, respectively to the comfort liner of a shoe fitted with such a liner. This attachment means can be of the Velcro type (registered trademark).
In general, the accessory according to the invention comes to replace the first of cleanliness of the shoe.
The accessory will preferably be presented in a closed individual bag. After use, it is either discarded or washed and reconditioned.
