Abstract

The pin badge consists of a plate (1) with its front face (2) carrying a decoration or insignia, and a fixing (7) for attaching the badge to the clothing or to a thin flat object. The back of the plate (1) has a support (6) forming an aperture which is open at the top and bottom and large enough to receive a pen or the side-piece of a pair of spectacles.The aperture can be made through the plate itself or through a ring or bracket pivoted to it. The fixing consists of a thread rod (8) with a pointed tip and a nut (9).
