Description

The present invention is in the field of construction and relates more particularly to a staircase with a central stringer.

In order to lighten the construction, stairs are often made without risers, whose plates forming the steps are placed between two stringers.

There are also known staircases with a central stringer on which the steps are fixed, directly or not. By construction, this stringer is an inclined component, and it is necessary to provide means for fixing the horizontal plates constituting the steps, for example with cutouts having a horizontal part intended to receive the step directly. When a staircase is not made by hand, it is necessary to know precisely in advance the height separating the two levels to be connected by a staircase, so that the steps are distributed and their height remains constant with respect to the adjacent step. The known devices are not adaptable on site and the present invention aims to overcome this drawback.

It therefore relates to a staircase characterized by consoles integral with the steps, each being composed of two inclined arms disposed between the step and the opposite lateral faces of the stringer, so as to constitute a triangulation with an additional attachment element provided between the bottom of the step and the top of the stringer

In a preferred variant, the inclined arm is constituted by a tubular part, the ends of which have shaped parts capable of being embedded in the material forming the step and the stringer.

The invention also extends to a method of mounting a staircase according to which a stringer is put in place between the levels to be reached by said staircase, clearances are made in its lateral faces, each clearing being capable of receiving the lower end of a console according to the invention, the spacing between the clearances being defined by the regular distribution of the steps.

The appended drawing represents, by way of nonlimiting example, an embodiment of the object of the present invention.

In the drawing, consoles 10 are shown arranged between steps 20 and a stringer 30.

More precisely, and as visible in the front view of FIG. 3, each console 10 is constituted by a tubular arm 11, each end of which has a shaped part 12, 13 intended to secure it in the step 20 and the stringer 30 respectively to stabilize the construction by triangulation.

In the variant shown in the drawing, the part 12 or 13 is formed by a washer welded to each end of the tube and intended to be embedded in a corresponding clearance. The assembly is ensured by any fixing means, for example screws 14, visible in FIGS. 1 and

2.

Each step 20 is constituted by a plate whose lower surface 21 has two clearances 22, 23 intended to receive the parts 12 already described.

Preferably, the clearances 22 and 23 are relatively close to the front face 24 of the step, while the rear face 25 rests on the stringer 30. In addition, a central complementary piece 15, shown in FIGS. 2 and

3, and intended to improve the seat of the assembly by ensuring the fixing of the rear 25 of the step directly in the central stringer 30.

The central stringer is constituted by a profile 30 disposed between the two levels to be connected by the staircase according to the invention. The profile shown in the drawing is of rectangular section. It has an upper face 31 intended to receive the steps 20 and lateral faces 32 and 33 cooperating with the consoles 10.

After fixing the profile 30 in the stairwell, we will determine the number of steps necessary to pass from one level to another, and we will decide their location along the profile (s) 30. We will practice at intervals regular, clearances 34 and 35 intended to receive the lower ends 13 of the tubes 11, which are fixed by screws 14 as mentioned above.

As indicated in the introduction, this way of making it possible to use components manufactured in series and adaptable to all the spacings required by each particular case. The staircase according to the invention also allows the realization of any staircase, for example rounded or angled, according to the shape given to the support stringer.

Alternatively, provision can be made to place the steps asymmetrically with respect to the central stringer. It may be necessary in this case to use consoles according to the invention different on each side of the system.

Claims 1. Staircase comprising steps (20) and a central stringer (30), characterized by consoles integral with the steps, each console being composed of two inclined arms (10) disposed between the step (20) and the opposite lateral faces of the stringer (30), so as to constitute a triangulation with a complementary fastening element (15) provided between the bottom (21) of the step and the top (31) of the stringer. 2. Staircase according to claim 1, characterized in that the inclined arms (10) of the console each consist of a tubular part (11) whose ends have shaped parts (12, 13) capable of being embedded in the walking and / or silt. 3.
