Beschreibung description
The invention relates to the construction of an adsorption dryer with condensate separator and regeneration device. The principle of this type of dryer requires that a regeneration phase follows after a drying phase. Depending on the type of drying agent, it must be ensured that the medium to be dried does not exceed a specified temperature before entering the dryer.
Systems are known in which the functions of condensate separation, pressure gas drying and regeneration of the desiccant are assigned to individual devices. These individual components are connected by cables and attached to a scaffold. The effort in material and work is considerable.
The invention has for its object to combine all the components required for the function of the drying and regeneration process by a simple, compact structure. An adsorption dryer characterized by claim 1 solves this problem.
Es zeigen: Exemplary embodiments are described below with reference to the accompanying drawing. Show it:

Fig. 2: the section through the connecting part on the lid.
Fig. 3: the schematic representation of a system with a single-chamber adsorption dryer according to Fig. 1 (outlined).
The working cycle of the drying process, which develops in two phases, can be described as follows with the aid of FIGS. 1 and 3:
Drying: The moist pressure medium cooled in the cooler 11 flows into the base piece 13 at 15. The deflection of the gas flow at the chicane 16 separates out condensate and is collected in room 6. The still moist pressure medium flows through the desiccant 17 and leaves the unit at the tapping point 7. A check valve 18 is installed between the tapping point 7 and the storage container 28. At the same time, the regeneration gas chamber 2 is filled with dried pressure medium via the open check or pressure relief valve 4.
Regenerate: The solenoid valve 12 opens e.g. at the same time as the compressor is switched off. The condensate collected in room 6 flows off at 26. Due to the pressure drop in chamber 1, valves 4 and 18 close. The dry pressure medium in chamber 2 flows through orifice 5 into chamber 1. The expansion results in a large amount of gas with a very low relative humidity. The regeneration gas takes the moisture from the desiccant 17 and flows out via the solenoid valve 12.
Im Beispiel von Fig. 1 enthält das Bodenstück 13 In the example of FIG. 1, the bottom piece 13 contains
The dryer chamber 1 and the regeneration gas chamber 2 are advantageously formed by circular tubes 8 and 9 with the same diameter and the same wall thickness. As a result, the volume of the drying chamber 1 and the regeneration gas chamber 2 can be easily adapted to the respective operating conditions by cutting to length. The drying means 17 can be held together, for example, between two loosely inserted sieve plates by means of one or more springs 19. The drying agent chamber 1 and the regeneration gas chamber 2 are connected to one another by openings in the intermediate piece 3. One opening contains a valve 4, which can be a check valve or a pressure relief valve. This valve closes off the flow from the regeneration chamber 2 to the dryer chamber 1. The other opening is provided with an aperture 5, with which the regeneration time can be determined by selecting the corresponding opening.
The base piece 13, the intermediate piece 3 and the cover 10 (FIG. 2) are provided with cams 20 which contain through holes 21 in order to detachably connect the assembly, for example, by means of threaded rods 22 and nuts 23 placed outside the tubes.
When using circular tubes 8 and 9, it is advantageous to provide the base piece 13, the intermediate piece 3 and the cover 10 with offsets 24 in order to center the seals 25 and to facilitate assembly. The correct course of the process can be observed on the manometer 27.
