Abstract

To form a connection between a straight (4) or curved (5) fitting and a water supply pipe, a flanges part of the fitting is clamped by a locking cap (1) against the shouldered end of the pipe (A or P). Projecting from the fitting (5) is a hooked lug (5') which engages teeth (2) or serrations on the outside of the cap, around its central opening, to give a locking action. In an alternative design, the fitting (4) has a tongue projecting from its surface to engage a groove inside the cap, to give a locking action. USE/ADVANTAGE - Particularly for plumbing applications. A good seal is maintained where vibration is present and the joint has remained dry over long periods of time.

La presente invenzione ha per oggetto un raccordo di sicurezza per tubazioni idrauliche in genere e in particolare per quelle destinate all'allacciamento a lavatrici, lavastoviglie, reti idriche di irrigazione, connessioni idrauliche, onde evitare perdite d'acqua o di liquido causate dall'allentamento delle parti componenti il raccordo, per effetto delle vibrazioni e dell'essiccamento delle garnizioni.
