Abstract

The protection system uses a sticky mass (1) which is applied to the inside of the clock housing back (6). Dust particles entering the clock housing adhere to the mass and do not penetrate the clock mechanism. Pref. the sticky mass (1) comprises a double-sided adhesive film which is stuck to the inside of the housing back (6) by removing the protective layer on one side, with subsequent removal of the protective layer (2) on the other side. ADVANTAGE - Simple protection of clock mechanism.
