Description
The invention relates to a collapsible container according to the general concept of the independent claim.
The known bags made from plastic films, which are used, for example, for the distribution of powdery and liquid substances such as washing powder, orange juice, etc., have the advantage over the traditional bottle that they have an extremely low weight and require very little material during manufacture. that consequently little material has to be removed even after use and the associated environmental pollution is extremely low and that these soft packs, when filled, take up very little space, while their space requirement before filling and after emptying is practically negligible. The disadvantage of these soft packs lies in the fact that it has not hitherto been possible to provide them with an uncomplicated, liquid-tight, reclosable pouring opening.
The possibility of resealability after a partial removal of the package contents may play a subordinate role in typical refill bags, the entire contents of which are only refilled for refill purposes; However, wherever small or large quantities of the package contents have to be removed periodically, there has been a need for a simple, liquid-tight closure, which is a characteristic of the conventional bottle, but has so far not been realized on soft packs could.
It is therefore the object of the present invention to propose a collapsible container for pourable goods, such as powders and liquids, which can be resealed liquid-tight any number of times after the first partial removal of the container contents. This object is achieved by the combination of features defined in claim 1.
An embodiment of the invention is described below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
1 shows a perspective view of a spout with a screw cap,
2 is a spout with a twist-off closure with a predetermined breaking point for opening the pack,
Fig. 3 is a longitudinal section through the spout of Fig. 2 and
Fig. 4 is a section along the line IV-IV in Figs. 1 and 2.
Of the soft pack or container labeled 1 in FIG. 1, only the upper corner area provided with a spout 2 is shown. The container part of the soft packaging, which is made from two foils 3.1 and 3.2, is connected to the spout 2 in the corner region shown in such a way that its welded edge zone 4 is connected to two fastening wings 6 in a liquid-tight manner via contact surfaces 5. The cross-sectional shape of the fastening wings 6 is, as shown in FIG. 4, V-shaped, the wing width decreasing towards the outside.
The angular arrangement of the mounting wings 6 is given for installation in a corner of the container. For the arrangement (not shown) along a container edge, the corresponding mounting wings are in a straight line to one another.
The spout 2 has a one-piece molded spout 7, which carries an external thread 8 for receiving a screw cap 9. Instead of this screw closure, another liquid-tight closure can also be provided.
As mentioned, the contact surfaces 5 of the fastening wings 6 open against the container part from a back surface 10 and impart a spreading effect to the foils 2 and 3, which makes it more difficult for the foils to stick together (see FIG. 4).
FIG. 2 shows a blind closure embodiment variant of the spout 2 which, with the exception of the spout nozzle, can have the same design features as the spout according to FIG. 1. On a substantially cylindrical tube section 11 sits a closure attachment 12 in the form of a twist grip, which is placed over this tube section 11 via a predetermined breaking point, formed by a cross-sectional weakening 13 at the upper end of the tube section 11. The predetermined breaking point 13 breaks when the closure attachment 12 is rotated relative to the fastening wings 6. This opens the container opening and the container contents can be removed.
For a possible reclosing of the container opening with only partial emptying of the container, a cap or plug closure (not shown) can be used, for example, the elements of which can at most be arranged as blind parts on the top of the closure attachment 12.
In the cross-sectional view according to FIG. 3, reinforcing ribs 14 are shown in the hollow fastening wings 6, which ensure the required dimensional stability when the foils 3.1, 3.2 are welded onto the contact surfaces 5 (FIG. 1).
