Abstract

The watch has an annular cam (7) which is manually actuated by a push button and which carries on its external face place indications which appear through window in the watch face. The cam actuates a pawl (31b) whose tooth (31c) drives a toothed wheel (34) connected by a differential mechanism to a sun and planet gear (40, 41) and the watch hands. Thus, the wearer of the watch can correct the time indicated by the watch hands to the time of one or other time zones without loss of time. ADVANTAGE - Provides time zone display mechanism which is simple to manufacture and efficient in operation. (8pp Dwg.No.2/8)
