Abstract

Ultraflat, small-size (lady's) electronic quartz watch with analog display of the time by hands driven with the aid of a wheelwork via a stepper motor of the electromagnetic type. The problem of saving space is solved by the fact that the pole pieces (7, 7'), of large surface area, of the stator of the motor are mounted against a thin element (8) near that face of the movement which is opposite the dial, so that they can pass near the centre of the movement or even overshoot this centre and leave a space for the wheelwork underneath them. The thin element serves as bearing at least for the rotor (11) of the motor. <IMAGE>
