Abstract

In addition to an oscillating circuit constructed as a clock pulse generator (91) and having a temperature frequency response as low as possible, the time-measuring instrument has a further oscillating circuit (92) which has a temperature frequency response deviating therefrom and preferably higher. A counter (98) counts the pulses of this further oscillating circuit and a temperature-dependent signal is formed by arranging for the counter results to be stored in a memory during a period which is essentially determined by a time counter (912) driven essentially by the clock pulse generator (91). Said signal is transmitted periodically to a frequency converter (91) whose output signal is used to correct the signal transmitted by the clock pulse generator to a reduction mechanism (911) which drives the time counter (912). At least some of the said circuit parts consist of CMOS integrated circuits. <IMAGE>
