Abstract

In normal operation, the shaft (1) of the dobby is driven by the shaft (2) of the loom via two toothed flanges (2a, 3a) connected to each other by retractable fingers (5, 6). When the latter are withdrawn with the aid of the lever (7) associated with the sleeve (4), the shaft (1) is rotationally driven at a slow speed by two satellite gears (26, 27) with different toothings which interact with the toothings (2b, 3b), themselves different, of the flanges (2a, 3a). These gears are carried by a pulley (13) connected to an auxiliary actuation motor (17). <IMAGE>
