Abstract

9 parts of fine iron, cobalt or nickel powder are mixed with 1 part of fine chromium or tungsten/chromium alloy powder, the mixture is shaped by compression, and it is sintered under hydrogen atmosphere at 1000-1100 DEG C. The articles obtained can be used as electrical heating elements, as fuel cell electrodes and as conducting elements for electrostatic precipitators operating at high temperature.
