Abstract

This device applies to a vehicle wheel, for example for a car. The flange (1) is placed coaxially with the wheel on its outer face. To this flange there are articulated three or four runners (3) which, when installed, are located in the position shown in dotted lines, the spoke wheel centre (7) being in the position (7a). By screwing the screw (10) into the nut (8) integral with the spoke wheel centre, the runners are made to pivot about their pins (6) and engage firmly via their curved part (4) over the tread strip (5). The device allows the car to move over snow. <IMAGE>
