Abstract

The electrical switch has a contactor moving between two end positions and operated by a switching arm. The contactor is constructed as a beam which has a central part and two side parts, and which rests against the switching arm at its central part. Its side parts rest against contact plates each of which can be driven against two contacts. The switching arm engages the centre of the beam. The two side parts and the two contact plates are guided by rods. The advantage lies in guaranteeing that four contact buttons will be driven against four opposing contacts.
