Abstract
Plastics pipes are bent using two curved gauge parts >=1 of which rotates against the other about a common axis, the two being orientated in such a manner as to enclose the pipe. Spec. the o.d. of one of the gauge parts equals the i.d., of the other, and a toroidal cavity results when they are pushed one over the other.
Description
Das Biegen von Kunststoffrohren stellt bis heute eine recht schwierige und insbesonders auch arbeitsintensive Operation dar. Die Erfindung bezweckt hier Abhilfe zu schaffen und betrifft ein Verfahren zum Biegen von Kunststoffrohren, das dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass das Rohr mittels zweier bogenförmiger Lehrenteile gebogen wird, die sich gegeneinader oder nur einer gegen den andern um eine gemeinsame Achse drehen, sich übereinanderschieben und das Rohr umschliessen. Bei diesem Verfahren wird das Rohr mittels der zwei bogenförmigen Lehrenteile so in seiner Form gebogen, dass sein bogenäusserer Teil gestreckt, während sein bogeninnerer mehr nur abgerollt wird. Anhand der Zeichnung wird das Prinzip des Verfahrens erläutert. Es zeigen:

Die in Fig. A dargestellte Biegevorrichtung hat zwei bogen- förmige Lehrenteile 1 und 2, die mit einer Vorrichtung gegeneinander- und übereinandergeschoben werden. Die beiden Lehrenteile sind so ausgelegt, dass der Aussendurchmesser des Lehrenteils 2 praktisch gleich dem Innendurchmesser des Lehrenteils 1 ist. Die Vorrichtung, um die Lehrenteile um die
Achse 5 zu drehen, und die Verbindungsstäbe sind nur prinzipmässig angedeutet.
Durch das Übereinanderschieben der beiden Lehrenteile ergibt sich ein torusförmiger Hohlraum, der für die Entstehung des Bogens dient. Das Prinzip kann auch nur so angewendet werden, dass die Biegung nur durch das Drehen des einen Lehrenteils entsteht.
Der in Fig. B dargestellte Schnitt zeigt die beiden Lehrenteile 1 und 2 geschnitten. Sie sind so ausgelegt, dass die Innen bogeufläche des Lehrenteils 1 sowie die Aussenbogenfläche des Lehrenteils 2 je mit einer halbkreisförmigen Rille, entsprechend dem Durchmesser des zu biegenden Rohres, ver sehen ist. Für eine bessere Führung können die Lehrenteile mit einer Nut versehen werden. Eine Klemmvorrichtung 6, mit der das Rohr 4 während dem Biegevorgang am Ende festge halten wird, dient zugleich als Zufuhrleitung der benötigten Abkühlluft.

They are designed so that the inner curved surface of the gauge part 1 and the outer curved surface of the gauge part 2 are each seen with a semicircular groove, corresponding to the diameter of the tube to be bent. The gauge parts can be provided with a groove for better guidance.
