Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Dose mit diese verschliessendem, abnehmbarem Deckel aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff, wobei der Deckel einen abgesenkten Boden und eine Umfangswand aufweist,   de    bei geschlossener Dose   in    deren Öffnung eingreift und mit einem oberen äusseren Flansch auf dem Rand der Dosenöffnung aufliegt.



   Um Dosen dicht abschliessen zu können, müssen deren Deckel satt passend angefertigt werden, so dass es Mühe macht, die Dose zu öffnen. Man hat deshalb bereits vorgeschlagen, am Dosendeckel einen Griffteil anzuordnen, der das Öffnen erleichtern soll. Dieser Griffteil, an dem der Deckel zum Öffnen gefasst wird, besteht aus einem äusseren, den oberen Rand der Dose abdeckenden Ringflansch. Er ragt über die zylindrische Dosenwandung hinaus und lässt es nicht zu, dass die Dosen beim Versand eng aneinander gerückt werden.



  Überdies besteht die Gefahr, dass die Dosen unbeabsichtigt geöffnet werden. Deshalb hatte man auch schon den Griffteil in die Deckelmitte verlegt, was wieder ein Aufstapeln der Dosen verhindert.



   Es sind auch Dosendeckel bekannt, die einen nach einwärts gerichteten Flansch aufweisen und sich nur mit Hilfsmitteln öffnen lassen und ferner Dosendeckel, wo der nach einwärts gerichtete Flansch sich nur über einen Teil des Deckelumfanges erstreckt und als über die Umfangswandung nach innen vorspringender Griffflansch ausgebildet ist. Aus Kunststoffen hergestellt, erfordern diese Deckel überdies vielteilige Spritzformen.



   Diese Nachteile werden beim Erfindungsgegenstand dadurch behoben, dass im Bereiche des Deckelbodens ein äusserer Umfangswulst vorgesehen ist, der einen   inneren    Umfangswulst der Dose untergreift, wobei der Deckel eine sich gegen die Deckelmitte hin erstreckende Lasche etwa in Höhe seines oberen äusseren Flansches aufweist.



   Weitere Einzelheiten, Merkmale und Vorteile von Ausführungsbeispielen der Erfindung werden an Hand der Zeichnung nachstehend näher erläutert.



   Es zeigen:

   Die Dose 1 an sich kann aus Pappe mit üblichem Kunststoffbelag (Fig. 1) oder aus Blech (Fig. 4) hergestellt sein. Im ersteren Falle ist es angezeigt, einen Blechboden 2 vorzusehen. Auf dem Rand 3 der Dosen öffnung 4 liegt der mit einem oberen äusseren Flansch 5   versehene : Deckel 6 auf, der die Dose 1 verschiesst und    abnehmbar ist. Der Deckel 6 besteht aus Kunststoff, wie Polyäthylen oder dergleichen, und weist neben einem abgesenkten Boden 7 eine Umfangswand 8 lauf, die bei geschlossener Dose 1 in deren Öffnung 4 eingreift.



   Erfindungsgemäss wird im Bereich des Deckelbodens 7 ein äusserer Umfangswulst 9 vorgesehen, der einen inneren Umfangswulst 10 der Dose 1 untergreift. Der Umfangswulst 10 kann bei Blechdosen (Fig. 4) einge  senkt werden. Bei Pappedosen l (Fig. 1 bzw. 3) wird    auf den Dosenrand 3 ein Ring 11 aufgerollt. Letzterer wird aus dem Randteil eines Blechbodens 2 erhalten, aus dem der ebene Teil ausgeschnitten wird, der wieder zu einem   kleineren    Ring 11 verarbeitet wird. Dadurch werden endlose Ringe 11 bei geringstem Materialaufwand erhalten. Auf dem Ring 11 wird der innere Umfangswulst 10 eingebördelt. Die Abmessungen des inneren Umfangswulstes 10 sind derart, dass an ihm keine Reste des Doseninhaltes haften bleiben, z. B.

   Farbe leicht mit dem Pinsel entfernt werden kann. Überdies kann der Ring 11 zur Befestigung von an sich bekannten Membranverschlüssen verwendet werden. Weiters weist der Deckel 6 etwa in Höhe seines oberen äusseren Flansches 5 eine sich gegen die Deckelmitte erstreckende Lasche  12 auf, die zur Sicherung des Griffes mit Verstärkungen 13 versehen sein kann.



   Um die Dose 1 zu öffnen, wird die Lasche 12 zwischen Daumen oben und Zeigefinger unten genommen und die zur Faust geballte Hand mit den Knöcheln am Deckelboden aufgesetzt. Rollt man nunmehr die Knöchel bei festgehaltener Lasche 12 gegen einen des kleinen Fingers hin am Deckelboden ab, so   wird    der Deckel 6 leicht deformiert und die Dose 1 geöffnet. Zufolge seiner Elastizität kehrt der Deckel 6 wieder in seine ursprüngliche Form nach der Abnahme von der Dose 1 zurück und kann wie üblich in die Dosenöffnung 4 eingesetzt werden.

The present invention relates to a can with a removable lid made of thermoplastic material that closes it, the lid having a lowered base and a peripheral wall which, when the can is closed, engages in its opening and rests with an upper outer flange on the edge of the can opening.



   In order to be able to close cans tightly, their lids have to be made to fit so that it is difficult to open the can. It has therefore already been proposed to arrange a handle part on the can lid, which is intended to facilitate opening. This handle part, on which the lid is gripped to open, consists of an outer ring flange that covers the upper edge of the can. It protrudes beyond the cylindrical wall of the can and does not allow the cans to be pushed close together during shipping.



  There is also the risk that the cans will be opened inadvertently. That is why the handle part had already been relocated to the center of the lid, which prevents the cans from being stacked up again.



   Can lids are also known which have an inwardly directed flange and can only be opened with tools and furthermore can lids where the inwardly directed flange extends only over part of the circumference of the lid and is designed as a grip flange projecting inwardly over the circumferential wall. Manufactured from plastics, these lids also require multi-part injection molds.



   These disadvantages are eliminated in the subject matter of the invention in that an outer circumferential bead is provided in the area of the lid base, which engages under an inner circumferential bead of the can, the lid having a tab extending towards the center of the lid approximately at the level of its upper outer flange.



   Further details, features and advantages of exemplary embodiments of the invention are explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing.

   The can 1 itself can be made of cardboard with a conventional plastic covering (Fig. 1) or of sheet metal (Fig. 4). In the former case it is advisable to provide a sheet metal base 2. On the edge 3 of the can opening 4 is provided with an upper outer flange 5: the lid 6, which closes the can 1 and is removable. The lid 6 is made of plastic, such as polyethylene or the like, and has, in addition to a lowered base 7, a circumferential wall 8 which engages in the opening 4 when the can 1 is closed.



   According to the invention, an outer circumferential bead 9 is provided in the area of the lid base 7, which engages under an inner circumferential bead 10 of the can 1. The circumferential bead 10 can be lowered in tin cans (Fig. 4). In the case of cardboard cans 1 (FIG. 1 or 3), a ring 11 is rolled onto the can rim 3. The latter is obtained from the edge part of a sheet metal base 2, from which the flat part is cut out, which is again processed into a smaller ring 11. As a result, endless rings 11 are obtained with the least amount of material. The inner circumferential bead 10 is crimped onto the ring 11. The dimensions of the inner circumferential bead 10 are such that no residues of the contents of the can stick to it, e.g. B.

   Paint can be easily removed with a brush. In addition, the ring 11 can be used for fastening membrane closures known per se. Furthermore, the cover 6 has, approximately at the level of its upper outer flange 5, a tab 12 which extends towards the center of the cover and which can be provided with reinforcements 13 to secure the handle.



   To open the can 1, the tab 12 is taken between the thumb on top and forefinger on the bottom and the hand clenched into a fist is placed with the knuckles on the bottom of the lid. If you now roll your knuckles against one of the little fingers on the bottom of the lid while holding the tab 12, the lid 6 is slightly deformed and the can 1 is opened. As a result of its elasticity, the lid 6 returns to its original shape after it has been removed from the can 1 and can be inserted into the can opening 4 as usual.
