  Boîte à déchets
 La présente invention a pour objet une boîte à déchets. Son but est de fournir une telle boîte permettant facilement le dépôt de déchets non hygiéniques ou d'odeur repoussante dans des conditions salubres; cette boîte est particulièrement destinée à l'usage dans des hôpitaux et autres établissements publics, de mme que dans les chemins de fer et autres véhicules, les avions, les bateaux, etc.



   La boîte faisant l'objet de l'invention est caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend un bâti supportant un sac en matière souple, ce bâti comportant deux parties mobiles l'une par rapport à l'autre auxquelles le sac est suspendu de façon amovible par son embouchure, de manière que, par un déplacement relatif des deux parties, le sac soit ouvert pour permettre l'introduction des déchets, ou fermé, l'une au moins de ces parties comprenant des moyens pour effectuer la fermeture du sac de façon permanente avant son retrait du bâti de support.



   Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de la boîte objet de l'invention:

   La boîte représentée comprend un bâti constitué par une enveloppe externe 1 dans laquelle est suspendu un sac 2 fait d'une feuille de matière plastique flexible et destiné à recevoir des déchets.



   L'enveloppe 1 comprend un coffret arrière 3 qui peut tre monté sur une paroi et un couvercle frontal 4 monté par une charnière 5 à son extrémité inférieure sur le coffret arrière 3, de manière à former une chambre recevant le sac 2.



   Ce dernier est supporté par son embouchure 8 à la partie supérieure du coffret arrière 3 comme représenté, par la paroi d'un logement 6 de cette partie supérieure, et à la partie supérieure du couvercle. Afin de permettre facilement le montage du sac 2 et sa mise en place de la façon décrite ci-après, ainsi que son retrait, les parties opposées de l'embouchure 8 du sac présentent des perforations 7 qui s'engagent sur des chevilles 9 montées sur le logement supérieur 6 et sur la partie supérieure du couvercle frontal 4.



   Pour assurer un support correct du sac 2, spécialement quand il est chargé, les chevilles 9 présentent une forme allongée en direction horizontale, les perforations 7 du sac 2 ayant une forme correspondante. Le sac 2 peut tre retenu engagé avec les chevilles 9 par des pinces, par exemple, mais, dans l'agencement représenté, un organe de serrage 10 pivotant est associé à chaque cheville, ces organes 10 étant montrés dans la position de serrage dans laquelle des langues 11 de ces organes sont disposées contre les chevilles 9 et recouvrent les bords de l'embouchure du sac 2 adjacents aux perforations 7. Pour permettre facilement l'engagement ou le dégagement du sac 2 relativement aux chevilles 9, les organes 10 sont écartés au moyen de pièces à doigt 12.



   Quand un sac 2 est monté en position de la manière décrite, on comprend qu'il est ouvert et fermé par un mouvement correspondant du couvercle frontal 4. Ainsi,  quand on veut déposer des déchets, le couvercle 4 est simplement ouvert au moyen d'une poignée ou d'une ouverture 14 pour les doigts et les déchets sont jetés dans le sac 2 ouvert, ce dernier pouvant tre fermé immédiatement en fermant le couvercle 4 contre le coffret arrière 3. Pendant tout le temps que le couvercle 4 est fermé, le sac 2 reste efficacement fermé et son contenu, par mesure d'hygiène, n'est pas exposé à l'atmosphère ou n'y est exposé que momentanément quand le sac est ouvert par l'ouverture du couvercle 4 pour l'introduction de déchets.



   Le couvercle 4 est sollicité par un ressort de tension 13 contre le coffret arrière 3, de sorte que le couvercle 4 se ferme automatiquement lorsqu'on le libère et est maintenu en position fermée.



   Quand le sac 2 est rempli de déchets et que   l'on    désire éliminer ces déchets ou les détruire, le sac 2 est scellé de façon permanente par la chaleur au niveau de son embouchure 8 quand il est en position fermée. Dans ce but, un corps de chauffe électrique 15 est porté par un tampon 16 d'une matière résistant à la chaleur, de l'amiante par exemple, monté à la partie supérieure du logement 6 à une courte distance au-dessous des chevilles 9 de suspension du sac. Un tampon 17 coopérant, également d'une matière résistant à la chaleur, est porté par le couvercle frontal 4 et, quand ce dernier est fermé, vient serrer l'embouchure du sac entre lui et le tampon 16. Un scellage à chaud est assuré alors en envoyant un courant dans le corps de chauffe 15.



   Le corps de chauffe 15 est mis en fonction pendant la période de temps requise au moyen d'un interrupteur à minuterie 19 actionné à la main, le circuit comprenant une lampe-témoin 20. Le corps de chauffe 15 est agencé, pour des questions de sécurité, pour fonctionner sous une basse tension, de 5 volts par exemple, fournie par un transformateur 21 alimenté par une source principale. Le transformateur 21 et le circuit général pour le corps de chauffe 15 sont logés dans le logement supérieur 6, le temps d'action de l'interrupteur pouvant tre de l'ordre de 5 à 10 secondes.



   Pour empcher toute manipulation non autorisée de l'interrupteur 19, la partie supérieure du logement 6 comporte un couvercle supérieur 22 qui, dans les conditions normales d'utilisation de la boîte, enferme un bouton 23 commandant l'interrupteur et la lampe 20, le couvercle 22 étant verrouillé dans cette position par des moyens non représentés.



   Quand on veut produire le scellage à chaud d'un sac 2 avant de le retirer de l'enveloppe, le couvercle 22 est basculé en position ouverte à l'aide d'un évidement 28 pour les doigts, en direction avant autour d'un pivot 24 (fig. 7).



   Non seulement le couvercle 22 expose alors le bouton de commande 23 et la lampe témoin 20, mais il assure en outre le verrouillage du couvercle 4 contre le coffret arrière 3, de façon que l'embouchure 8 soit fermement serrée entre les tampons 16 et 17 pour assurer un scellage correct. Dans ce but, le couvercle 22 comporte des doigts 25 qui coopèrent avec des surfaces de came 26 correspondantes sur le couvercle frontal 4 pour obtenir le verrouillage de ce dernier quand le couvercle supérieur 22 est basculé en position ouverte.



   Après le scellage à chaud et le retour du couvercle 22 dans sa position normale, le couvercle frontal 4 est ouvert et le sac 2 est dégagé des chevilles 9 de la façon décrite précédemment, de sorte qu'il peut tre emmené pour tre détruit avec son contenu, par exemple par combustion dans un incinérateur.



   Comme le sac 2 a été scellé avant d'tre retiré, il peut tre manipulé ensuite et transporté sans exposer son contenu d'aucune façon, ce qui assure une opération propre et hygiénique pendant tout son emploi.



   Pour le mouvement d'ouverture et de fermeture normal du couvercle frontal 4 en vue de déposer des déchets dans le sac, l'étendue du mouvement d'ouverture est limitée pour éviter l'endommagement du sac, par un goujon 27 de chaque côté du couvercle frontal 4 disposé dans une fente de limitation 29 correspondante ménagée dans le coffret arrière 3.



   La fente 29 comporte un prolongement 30 ouvert à l'extérieur et vers le haut permettant un mouvement d'ouverture supplémentaire du couvercle frontal 4, par exemple pour le retrait du sac et son remplacement. Il est nécessaire de soulever le couvercle 4 légèrement afin que chaque goujon 27 s'engage dans le prolongement correspondant 30 de la fente, cet engagement verrouillant le couvercle 4 dans la position complètement ouverte contre l'action du ressort de retour 13. Toutefois, par suite de la partie inclinée 30a du prolongement 30 de la fente, une pression modérée de la main sur le couvercle 4 ramène chaque goujon 27 dans la fente 29 pour fermer le couvercle 4.



   Quand chaque goujon 27 engage sa fente 29, le couvercle frontal 4 peut tre soulevé à distance du coffret arrière 3.' Dans ce but, des chevilles de charnière 31 disposées à l'extrémité inférieure du couvercle frontal 4 s'engagent avec une fente verticale 32 présentant une ouverture de forme appropriée 33 et ménagée dans le coffret arrière 3. Avant ce retrait du couvercle 4, le ressort 13 est déconnecté à l'une de ses extrémités de fixation.



   On comprend que la boîte décrite est d'une construction et d'un fonctionnement simples, les parties principales de son bâti pouvant tre obtenues par moulage ou coulée.



   La fermeture permanente du sac avant son retrait est avantageuse mais elle peut tre effectuée par d'autres moyens que ceux décrits, par exemple à l'aide d'agrafes, et dans ce cas le sac 2 peut tre confectionné d'une matière non plastique, par exemple du papier. Alternativement, I'intérieur de l'embouchure 8 d'un sac de papier, par exemple, peut tre traité avec un adhésif sensible à la chaleur qui est temporairement amolli pour assurer l'adhésion lors de la fermeture permanente du sac, par actionnement du corps de chauffe 15.

   The box forming the subject of the invention is characterized in that it comprises a frame supporting a bag of flexible material, this frame comprising two parts movable relative to each other from which the bag is removably suspended. by its mouth, so that, by a relative movement of the two parts, the bag is open to allow the introduction of waste, or closed, at least one of these parts comprising means for effecting the closing of the bag so permanent before it is removed from the support frame.

   Fig. 7 is a view, on a larger scale, of a detail shown in the preceding figures.



   The box shown comprises a frame consisting of an outer envelope 1 in which is suspended a bag 2 made of a flexible plastic sheet and intended to receive waste.



   The casing 1 comprises a rear box 3 which can be mounted on a wall and a front cover 4 mounted by a hinge 5 at its lower end on the rear box 3, so as to form a chamber receiving the bag 2.



   The latter is supported by its mouth 8 at the upper part of the rear cabinet 3 as shown, by the wall of a housing 6 of this upper part, and at the upper part of the cover. In order to easily allow the bag 2 to be assembled and put in place in the manner described below, as well as its removal, the opposite parts of the mouth 8 of the bag have perforations 7 which engage on pegs 9 mounted. on the upper housing 6 and on the upper part of the front cover 4.



   To ensure correct support of the bag 2, especially when it is loaded, the pegs 9 have an elongated shape in the horizontal direction, the perforations 7 of the bag 2 having a corresponding shape. The bag 2 can be retained engaged with the ankles 9 by clamps, for example, but, in the arrangement shown, a pivoting clamping member 10 is associated with each ankle, these members 10 being shown in the clamping position in which tongues 11 of these members are disposed against the ankles 9 and cover the edges of the mouth of the bag 2 adjacent to the perforations 7. To easily allow the engagement or release of the bag 2 relative to the ankles 9, the members 10 are spaced apart by means of finger parts 12.



   When a bag 2 is mounted in position in the manner described, it is understood that it is opened and closed by a corresponding movement of the front cover 4. Thus, when it is desired to deposit waste, the cover 4 is simply opened by means of a handle or an opening 14 for the fingers and the waste is thrown into the open bag 2, the latter being able to be closed immediately by closing the cover 4 against the rear box 3. While the cover 4 is closed, the bag 2 remains effectively closed and its contents, for hygiene reasons, are not exposed to the atmosphere or are only momentarily exposed to it when the bag is opened by the opening of the cover 4 for the introduction of waste.



   The cover 4 is biased by a tension spring 13 against the rear cabinet 3, so that the cover 4 closes automatically when released and is held in the closed position.



   When the bag 2 is filled with waste and it is desired to eliminate this waste or destroy it, the bag 2 is permanently heat sealed at its mouth 8 when it is in the closed position. For this purpose, an electric heating body 15 is carried by a pad 16 of a heat-resistant material, for example asbestos, mounted at the top of the housing 6 at a short distance below the pegs 9 suspension of the bag. A cooperating pad 17, also of a heat-resistant material, is carried by the front cover 4 and, when the latter is closed, clamps the mouth of the bag between it and the pad 16. A heat seal is provided. then by sending a current in the heating body 15.



   The heating body 15 is put into operation for the required period of time by means of a timer switch 19 actuated by hand, the circuit comprising a pilot lamp 20. The heating body 15 is arranged, for reasons of safety, to operate at a low voltage, of 5 volts for example, supplied by a transformer 21 supplied by a main source. The transformer 21 and the general circuit for the heating body 15 are housed in the upper housing 6, the action time of the switch possibly being of the order of 5 to 10 seconds.



   To prevent any unauthorized manipulation of the switch 19, the upper part of the housing 6 comprises an upper cover 22 which, under normal conditions of use of the box, encloses a button 23 controlling the switch and the lamp 20, the cover 22 being locked in this position by means not shown.



   When it is desired to produce the heat seal of a bag 2 before removing it from the envelope, the cover 22 is tilted to the open position by means of a recess 28 for the fingers, in the forward direction around a pivot 24 (fig. 7).



   Not only does the cover 22 then expose the control button 23 and the indicator light 20, but it also ensures the locking of the cover 4 against the rear cabinet 3, so that the mouth 8 is firmly clamped between the buffers 16 and 17 to ensure proper sealing. For this purpose, the cover 22 comprises fingers 25 which cooperate with corresponding cam surfaces 26 on the front cover 4 to obtain the locking of the latter when the upper cover 22 is tilted into the open position.



   After the heat sealing and the return of the cover 22 to its normal position, the front cover 4 is opened and the bag 2 is released from the pegs 9 in the manner described previously, so that it can be taken away to be destroyed with its contained, for example by combustion in an incinerator.



   As the bag 2 was sealed before being removed, it can then be handled and transported without exposing its contents in any way, which ensures a clean and hygienic operation throughout its use.



   For the normal opening and closing movement of the front cover 4 in order to deposit waste in the bag, the extent of the opening movement is limited to prevent damage to the bag, by a stud 27 on each side of the bag. front cover 4 disposed in a corresponding limiting slot 29 provided in the rear cabinet 3.



   The slot 29 comprises an extension 30 open to the outside and upwards allowing an additional opening movement of the front cover 4, for example for the removal of the bag and its replacement. It is necessary to lift the cover 4 slightly so that each stud 27 engages in the corresponding extension 30 of the slot, this engagement locking the cover 4 in the fully open position against the action of the return spring 13.
