Description
Schuss bedeutet.
Double fabrics for clothing purposes are known double fabrics for clothing purposes that result in a heavy and dense product without being boardy or hard and which are used for numerous areas of application.
These fabrics usually have several warp and weft systems that allow a high warp or weft thread setting.
The simplest fabric construction of this type is commonly referred to as a reinforced weave. The double fabrics also include the so-called double cloth, which is usually made of a worsted fabric with two warp systems and a weft system, with the upper and lower warp of this cloth usually having a 1: 1 ratio. The double cloth often consists of. Mouline twists or pearl twists, whereby the latter can be twisted with endless threads (synthetic threads or those based on cellulose, as well as natural silk or narrow metal or plastic ribbons).
The double fabrics mentioned were previously made from natural fibers or from fibers based on cellulose or cellulose derivatives. The previously known double fabrics do not meet all of the requirements placed on them. Above all, they show a low tear strength, poor abrasion resistance and poor dimensional stability.
It has now been found that double woven fabrics, in which weft and / or warp made from staple fiber yarns or threads, e.g. Twists which consist entirely or in part of aromatic polyesters, in particular of polyethylene terephthalate, do not have the disadvantages mentioned. In addition to staple fiber yarns made from aromatic polyesters, the double fabrics according to the invention for clothing purposes can also contain natural fibers such as wool, cotton, Schappeseide, or rayon (acetic, copper,
Viscose rayon) included. In addition, in addition to polyester fibers, the double fabrics for clothing purposes can also contain other synthetic fibers, e.g. made of polyacrylonitrile, polyvinyl alcohol or low-pressure polyolefins. Who prefers the double fabric, which contain a predominant proportion of fibers or threads made of polyethylene terephthalate.
The double clothing fabrics according to the invention are distinguished by high tear strength and good abrasion resistance and, in particular, by excellent dimensional stability. The polyester fibers contained in the new double-weave clothing can be both matt and glossy. and can have a round cross-section or a cross-section that deviates from the circular shape (star-shaped, lobed or another profiled cross-section).
In addition, it is also advantageous if the threads and fibers made of aromatic polyesters are wholly or partially hollow: The accompanying drawing shows an example of the double fabric according to the invention, with ä, b, c, d being the upper warp and a ', b', c ', d' denotes the lower chain and e, f, g, h denotes the 1st, 2:, 3rd and 4th weft.
