Description

The subject of the present invention is a heel for a gilthead shoe.

The body of the heel comprises an upper part 7, and a toe piece 6, for example of light metal such as aluminium, fixed to this upper part. A nut 5 of square section is slidably mounted in the upper square section part of the bore and is subjected to the action of a spring 4, the first pushing upwards.

A rod 3 has one threaded end screwed into the nut 5 and its other end carries a block 9 of square section engaged in the lower part of the same square section of the bore of the sleeve 2. This block 9 acts as a support for a @ wearing part 1 which can be made of plastic material, for example.

The wearing part 1 is armed with a cup 10, preferably made of steel, crimped onto the first block 9 and which prevents the part from rotating.

For very thin heels, the first sleeve 2 and its collar 8 are preferably made of metal (steel for example), the first sleeve having a square outer section.

To remove a used wear pike, pull it outwards; the block 9 is disengaged from the corresponding part of the bore of the sleeve 2 and the rod 3 is unscrewed from the screw until it can be taken out of the sleeve.

SUB-CLAIMS 1. Heel according to claim, characterized in that the sleeve, made of steel, has a flange at its lower end and is force-fitted in the body of the heel. 2.
