Description

Profiled bar The present invention relates to a profiled bar characterized in that it has two longitudinal planes of symmetry perpendicular to each other and that it has at least one transverse notch intended to serve as a housing and removably retaining a bar of the same profile.

The appended drawing represents, by way of example, three embodiments of the bar which is the subject of the invention.

Fig. 1 is a side view of the first form.

Fig. 2 is a sectional view along II-II of FIG. 1.

Fig. 3 is a side view of the second form.

Fig. 4 is a sectional view along IV-IV of FIG. 3.

Fig. 5 is a side view of the third form.

Fig. 6 is a sectional view along VI-VI of FIG. 5.

The profiled metal bar 1 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 has a cross section in the shape of an X, the branches 2 and 3 of the latter having axes 4 and 13, forming an angle of 90 "between them. The bar 1 has two longitudinal planes of symmetry per pendicular between them , represented by their traces 5 and 6.

The bar 1 comprises two sets 7 of transverse notches; each set 7 has a pair 9 of notches 11 made in branch 2, and a pair 10 of notches 12 made in branch 3; for each set, the notches 11 of one pair are opposite the notches 12 of the other pair. In each assembly 7 can be engaged a bar 1, the latter being movable longitudinally and being able to be held captive.

Provision is made for a bar 1 having a notch made in each branch 2 and 3, these two notches being of the same shape and facing each other, can also serve as a housing for another bar 1.

Bars similar to the bar 1 shown can be used to easily produce the frame of a piece of furniture that can be dismantled, in particular a shelf, and this without it being necessary to use assembly means such as screws, bolts, che cities.

The profiled metal bar 14 shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 has a cross section in the form of a double dovetail; the bar 14 has two longitudinal planes of symmetry perpendicular to each other represented by their traces. 15 and 16 and. consists of two parts 17 and 18; each of these has a notch 19 in which a bar 14 can be engaged, the latter being movable longitudinally while being trapped.

It is planned to produce a bar that only has a notch 19.

The profiled metal bar 20 shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 has a cross section in the general shape of a four-pointed star 21, 22, 23 and 24; it has two longitudinal planes of symmetry per pendicular between them represented by their traces 25 and 26; the branches 21 and 23 have a common axis 27 perpendicular to the axis 28 common to the two branches 22 and 24.

The bar 20 comprises on the one hand a pair of opposite notches 29 formed respectively in the branches 21 and 22 serving as a housing for a bar 20, and, on the other hand, a pair of facing notches 30 respectively provided. in branches 23 and 24.

The bar 20 could only have a pair of facing notches.

Metal bars similar to the bars 14 respectively 20 are also capable of being used to easily produce removable frames or frames.
