Description

  

  Gerät     zum        Massieren    des     Zahnfleisches       Geräte zum Massieren des Zahnfleisches  sind bekannt; es haftet ihnen jedoch der  Nachteil an, dass die     Oberfläche    der zylindri  schen     Massagekörper    zu klein ist und deshalb  beim Gebrauch eine ungenügende Durchblu  tung des Zahnfleisches erreicht wird.  



  Die vorliegende Erfindung, die ein Gerät  zum Massieren des Zahnfleisches zum Gegen  stande hat, ermöglicht nun, diesen Nachteil  zu belieben, indem die wirksame Partie der  aus elastisch nachgiebigem Material bestehen  den     Massagekörper    aus einem Kopfteil besteht,  der den an ihn angrenzenden Teil des Massage  körpers allseitig überragt.  



  Die beiliegende Zeichnung zeigt ein Aus  führungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes,  und zwar zeigt:       Fig.    1 einen Grundriss,       Fig.    2 eine Seitenansicht und       Fig.    3 einen einzelnen     Massagekörper.     Das gezeichnete Gerät besitzt einen     Griff    1,  z. B. aus Kunstharz, in dessen einem Ende die       Massagekörper    2 eingesetzt sind, die in ihrer  Gesamtheit mit dem     Griff    die Form einer  Bürste aufweisen. Die     Massagekörper    bestehen  aus einem     elastisch    nachgiebigen Material, z. B  weichem Kunstharz oder Gummi.

   Wie aus der       Fig.    3 ersichtlich ist, besitzt jeder Massage  körper 2 einen zylindrischen Zapfen 3, mittels  welchem der Körper in den     Griff    eingesetzt  wird. An dem Zapfen 3 schliesst sich ein       kegelstumpfförmiger    Mittelteil 4 an, wobei die  Spitze des Kegels dem Zapfen abgewandt ist.    An die kleinere Grundfläche des Kegel  stumpfes schliesst sich ein kopfförmiger Teil  an, der die wirksame Partie des     Massagekör-          pers    bildet. Dieser Kopfteil 5     kann    kugelför  mig sein oder die Form eines     Ellipsoids     oder     Parallelepipedons    aufweisen.

   Seine Ober  fläche kann glatt sein oder Erhöhungen auf  weisen oder kann auch     facettiert    sein (Rauten  fläche).  



  Die Teile 3, 4, 5 bilden einen einzigen  Körper. Es ist nun ohne weiteres ersichtlich,  dass die     Oberfläche    des Teiles 5 grösser ist  als diejenige der wirksamen Partie eines zylin  drischen Körpers mit gleicher Ausdehnung in  Richtung der Achse des Teiles 2, dessen  Durchmesser dem des Zapfens 3 entsprechen  würde.

   Da der kopfförmige Teil 5 das an  grenzende Ende des     kegelförmigen    Mittelteils 4       allseitg    überragt, greifen bei der Massage die  kopfförmigen Teile 5 wie eine Verzahnung  ein; dadurch wird eine bessere Massage des  Zahnfleisches, im besonderen des sonst schwer  zugänglichen     lingualen    und     palatalen    Zahn  fleisches erreicht, was eine bessere Durchblu  tung desselben und damit eine Vorbeugung  gegen     Paradentose    bewirkt.
