Description
<Desc/Clms Page number 1>

Movement Wrist and pocket watch movements are often used for smaller pendulum clocks. These movements have the normal escapements with a balance wheel.
Since these pendulum clocks are not subject to any change in position, it is possible to combine the advantages of the pendulum with the usual balance escapement to improve the speed of the clock. The present invention addresses this improvement.
An exemplary embodiment is shown in FIG. 1, which shows a top view of the clockwork.
In FIG. 1, 1 denotes the work plate, 2 the balance wheel, 3 the armature and 4 the pendulum placed on the armature shaft, with the extension 4a.
So the pendulum follows the movements of the anchor. The anchors in most watches have balance weight differences that are very difficult to bridge during manufacture. The pendulum attached to the armature, which is in equilibrium with respect to the armature bearing, reduces the difference in equilibrium so much that the amplitude of the balance vibrations becomes more even on both sides. In order to achieve an aesthetic effect, the pendulum is extended beyond the diameter of the movement. It is possible to use the pendulum z. B. to shape in the form of a bell clapper.
