Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     3'-Oxy-4'-carboxyphenylesters    einer     Phthalocyanintetra1%#g          sulfonsäure.       Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung  ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     3'-Oxy-          4-'-earboxyphenylesters    einer     Phthalocyanin-          tetras2ilfonsä.ure,    welches dadurch gekenn  zeichnet ist, dass man 1     Mol        Phthalocyanin-          l,3',3",3"'-tetrasulfoehlorid    mit 4 Molen     1,3-          1)ioxybenzol-4-earbonsäure    in Gegenwart.

   einer       11ineralsä.ure    neutralisierenden Substanz zur       1'msetzung    bringt.  



  Das zu verwendende     Phthalocyanin-          3,3',3",3"'-tetrasulfoehlorid    kann durch     Ein-          wirkun-    von     Chlorsulfonsäure    auf     Phthalo-          evanin    erhalten werden.  



  Im nachfolgenden Beispiel bedeuten die  Teile Gewichtsteile.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>       -15,3    Teile     (1/2o        Mol)        Phthalocyanin-          3,3',3",3"'-tetrasulfoehlorid,    erhalten durch  Einwirkung von     Chlorsulfonsäure    auf     Phthalo-          ey        anin,    werden auf Eis ausgeladen und das  abgetrennte Reaktionsprodukt als feuchte  Paste mit, 200 Teilen     zerkleinertem    Eis     ver-          rniseht    und eine Lösung von 32,5 Teilen       (1/2o        Mol)        1,

  3-Dioxybenzol-4-carbonsäure    und       1.7        Teilen        Natriumhydroxyd        (100        %)        in        200     Teilen Wasser zugegeben. Während mehreren    Stunden wird bei 0-5  C gerührt, aus der  klaren Lösung die     Farbstoffsäure    mit Salz  säure ausgefällt und auf übliche Weise in das       Natriumsalz    übergeführt. Der neue Farbstoff  stellt ein blaugraues Pulver dar, das sich in       Wasser    mit. hellblauer und in     konz.    Schwefel  säure mit olivgrüner Farbe löst.  



  Er färbt     vorchromierte    Baumwolle in  blaustichig grünen Farbtönen und liefert im  Chromdruck auf Baumwolle grüne Farbtöne  von guten Echtheitseigenschaften.
