Das vorliegende Patent betrifft ein Ver fahren zur Herstellung eines neuen gelbgrü nen Farbstoffes der Phthalocyaninreihe, das dadurch gekennzeichnet. ist, dass man das sym metrische Tetra- (2) -thionaphthoxy-kupfer- . phthalocyanin mit sulfonierenden Mitteln be handelt.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 10 Teile symmetrisches Tetra- (2) -thio- naphthoxy-kupferphthalocyanin, erhalten nach dem Schweizer PatentNr. <B>269710,</B> werden in der vier- bis sechsfachen Menge Monohydrat gelöst. und bei 200 so lange gerührt, bis eine Probe in Wasser löslich geworden ist. Der gelbgrüne Farbstoff wird in üblicher Weise isoliert und färbt Papier gelbgrün an.
