Description
Sperrholzplatte.
Plywood board. The invention relates to a plywood plate. Known plywood panels consist of long wooden strips, which are glued on both sides with fur kidneys, depending on the number of veneers and the middle layer of a 3-fold, 5-fold, 7-fold, etc. plywood speaks.
According to the invention, the known plywood panels are improved in that their middle layer, glued on both sides with veneers, consists of end-grain blocks of the same height, which are randomly arranged at a distance from one another and whose end faces face the veneers. Here, too, one, two, three or more veneers can be glued onto each side.
In this way, a plywood board is obtained that is completely resistant to distortion. Another advantage is that considerable amounts of timber are saved, which leads to cheaper production. Finally, the waste load is low, and a particular advantage of the subject matter of the invention is that no special conditions need to be imposed on the cross-section of the end grain. Every dimension of the resulting trunk can therefore be used. will; Any logs or waste wood can also be used as end grain. This further reduces the cost of the manufacture of the subject matter of the invention.
The accompanying figure shows a simplified representation of an embodiment of the invention. There are shown: FIG. 1 a view, FIG. 2 a section along line II-II in FIG. 3, FIG. 3 a cross section.
In the plywood sheet according to FIGS. 1 to 3, the middle layer consists of a larger number of end-grain blocks 1 of the same height, whose cross-section is different, which were randomly arranged from one another in not too great a distance. A veneer 2 and 3 are glued on each of the two end faces of these end grain blocks 1. Instead, several veneers with the fibers can be glued crosswise on each side.
