Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Polyaryläthylenderivates.       Gegenstand vorliegenden Patentes ist ein  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Polyaryl-          äthylenderivates,    welches dadurch gekenn  zeichnet ist, dass man     o-Chlor-benzaldehy    d  mit     einem        4-Nitrotoluol-2-sulfonsäurearylester     kondensiert und den erhaltenen     Stilbensulfon-          säurearylester    verseift.  



  Die neue Verbindung, die     4-Nitro-2'-ehlor-          stilben-2-sulfonsäui-e,    kristallisiert als Na  triumsalz in gelben Kristallen. Sie soll als       Zwischenprodukt    Verwendung finden.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  15 Teile     4-Nit.ro-toluol-2-sulfonsäurephenyl-          ester    und 7 Teile     o-Chlor-benzaldehyd    werden  mit 1 Teil     Piperidin    während einer Stunde  auf 1.35 bis     14.5     erhitzt. Unter lebhafter Was  serabspaltung erstarrt das anfänglich flüssige  Reaktionsgemisch. Das erhaltene     Stilbenderi-          vat    wird durch     Umkristallisieren    aus     Amyl-          alkohol.    gereinigt.

   Man erhält     4-Nitro-2'-chlor-          stilbeii        2-sulfonsäurephenylester    in einer     Aus-          beute        von        41%.        Das        Produkt        ist        schwach        gelb-          lieh    gefärbt und schmilzt bei     139 .     



  <B>16,6</B> Teile dieses     Esters    werden in 320     Tei-          len        Äthanol        (95%)        suspendiert        und        zum        Sie-          den    erhitzt. Dann wird eine Lösung von 3,2    Teilen     Natriumhydroxy    d in 8 Teilen Wasser  im Verlaufe einer Stunde tropfenweise     hinzu-          gegeben    und weiter während ein bis zwei  Stunden unter     Rückfluss    gekocht, bis eine  Probe in Wasser löslich ist.

   Unter Rühren  wird erkalten gelassen, abgetrennt, mit Alko  hol gewaschen und getrocknet. Das     Natrium-          salz    der erhaltenen     Sulfonsäure    bildet gelbe  Kristalle, die sich in heissem Wasser gut lösen.

  <B> 16.6 </B> parts of this ester are suspended in 320 parts of ethanol (95%) and heated to boiling.    The mixture is left to cool while stirring, separated off, washed with alcohol and dried. The sodium salt of the sulfonic acid obtained forms yellow crystals which dissolve well in hot water.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Polyaryl- äthy lenderivates, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man o-Chlor-benzaldehy d mit einem 4-Nitro- toluol-2-sulfonsäureary lester kondensiert und den erhaltenen Stilbensulfonsäurearylester verseift. Die neue Verbindung, die 4-Nitro 2'-ehlor- stilben-2-sulfonsäure, kristallisiert als Na triumsalz in gelben Kristallen.
