Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Wollfarbstoffes. Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Woll- farbstoffes, welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass 3,6-Di-(o-cycioliexylanilino)-fluoran sulfoniert wird, so dass eine Sulfonsäuregruppe in das Molekül eintritt.
Der neue Farbstoff ist ein purpurrotes Pulver, das sich in Wasser unter Bildung einer rotvioletten Lösung löst und Wolle in rotvioletten Farbtönen färbt.
Beispiel: 6,3 Teile wasserfreies Zinkchlorid werden einem aus 11,1 Teilen 3,6-Dichlorfluorari, 1,8 Teilen gepulvertem Kalk und 15,8 Teilen 2 - Cyclohexylanilin bestehenden, gerührten (;emisch zugesetzt, welches in einem Ölbad bei einer Temperatur von<B>100'</B> C erhitzt wird. Das Gemisch wird hierauf bei einer Temperatur von '210-215' C erhitzt und während 2 Stunden bei dieser Temperatur gehalten.
Das Gemisch wird gekühlt, gepul- vert und mit kalter, verdünnter Salzsäure extrahiert, um die anorganischen Salze und überschüssiges Amin zu entfernen. Der un lösliche basische Farbstoff wird auf diese Weise als bronzeähnlich iridisierendes, rot violettes Pulver erhalten.
Man trägt 12,0 Teile des auf diese Weise erhaltenen basischen Farbstoffes bei 20' C in 80 Teile Schwefelsäure ein und rührt das Gemisch, bis eine Probe des Sulfonierungs- gemisches in verdünntem wässrigem Ammo niak löslich ist. Man giesst das Gemisch auf 250 Teile Isis und filtriert den so erhaltenen Niederschlag ab. Der auf diese Weise erhaltene Farbstoff wird in heisser, verdünnter Natrium carbonatlösung gelöst und durch Zugabe von Salzsäure wieder ausgefällt. Der Farbstoff wird abfiltriert und getrocknet, wobei man ein purpurfarbenes Pulver erhält.
Der auf diese Weise erhaltene Farbstoff, der ca. eine Sulforisäuregruppe pro Molekül enthält, färbt Wolle in rotvioletten Farbtönen von unge wöhnlichem Glanz und grosser Klarheit.

12.0 parts of the basic dye obtained in this way are introduced into 80 parts of sulfuric acid at 20 ° C. and the mixture is stirred until a sample of the sulfonation mixture is soluble in dilute aqueous ammonia. The mixture is poured into 250 parts of Isis and the precipitate thus obtained is filtered off. The dye obtained in this way is dissolved in hot, dilute sodium carbonate solution and precipitated again by adding hydrochloric acid. The dye is filtered off and dried to give a purple powder.
The dye obtained in this way, which contains about one sulforic acid group per molecule, dyes wool in red-violet shades of unusual gloss and great clarity.
