Description
Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 241904. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines metallisierbaren Polyazofarbstoffes. Gegenstand vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines metallisier baren Polyazofarbstoffes. Das Verfahren ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man den durch Kupplung von 4-Acetylamino-l-diazo-benzol mit Salicylsäure und nachherige Verseifung erhaltenen Amino-monoazofarbstoff diazotiert und mit 1-Amino-2-methoxy-5-methyl-benzol kuppelt,
den so erhaltenen Amino-dioazofarb- stoff diazotiert und alkalisch mit dem durch saure Kupplung von diazotierter 2-Amino-5- nitro-benzoesäure mit 2-Amino-5-oxy-naph- thaIin-7-sulfonsäure erhaltenen Monoazofarb- stoff kuppelt.
Der neue Tetrakisazofarbstoff ist ein dunkles bronzierendes Pulver, welches sich in Wasser mit violettgrauer und in konzentrier ter Schwefelsäure mit blaugrauer Farbe löst.
Er färbt pflanzliche Fasern nachgekupfert in rotstichig-grauen Tönen von ausgezeichneten Nassechtheiten. Beispiel: <B>25,
7</B> Teile von durch Kupplung von 4- Acetylamino-l-diazo-benzol mit Salicylsäure und nachherige Verseifung erhaltener 4 Amino-4'-oxy-azobenzol-3'-carbonsäure wer den wie üblich diazotiert und mit einer salz sauren Lösung von<B>13,7</B> Teilen 1-Amino,-2- methoxy-5-methyl-benzol vereinigt.
Man be schleunigt die Kupplung durch Zutropfen von Natriumacetatlösung. Der fertig gebildete Aminodisazofarbstoff wird in alkalischer Lö sung ausgesalzen, abfiltriert, mit Natronlauge gelöst, mit 7,5 Teilen Natriumnitrit vermischt und durch Einlaufenlassen in überschüssige verdünnte Salzsäure bei 20 diazotiert. Sobald die Diazotiemuug beendet ist,
wird die schwer lösliche Diazoniumverbindung abfiltriert, mit Eiswasser angerührt und mit 39 Teilen des durch saure Kupplung von diazotierter 5- Nitro-2-amino-benzoesäure mit 2-Amino-5- oxy - naphthalin - 7 - sulfonsäure erhaltenen Monoazofarbstoffes.in 300 Teilen Wasser,
150 Teilen Pyridin und 25 Teilen konzen- trierter Ammoniaklösung vereinigt. Der fer tig gebildete Tetrakisazo.farbstoff wird mit Kochsalz abgeschieden, filtriert, die Press- kucken mit Sole gewaschen und getrocknet.

The new tetrakisazo dye is a dark bronzing powder that dissolves in water with a violet-gray color and in concentrated sulfuric acid with a blue-gray color.
It dyes vegetable fibers after copperplate in reddish-gray tones with excellent wet fastness properties. Example: <B> 25,

The coupling is accelerated by adding dropwise sodium acetate solution.
