Description
Zum Verschnüren von Paketen bestimmtes Band aus Kunststoff.
Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist ein zum Verschnüren von Paketen und dergleichen bestimmtes Band aus Kunststoff.
Das Neue besteht darin, dass innerhalb eines längsgefalteten Streifens, welcher aus derart dünnem, geschmeidigem Kunststoff besteht, dass er knotbar ist, längs beiden Kanten Einlagen zur Erhöhung der Zugfestigkeit vorgesehen sind. Die beiden Lagen des gefalteten Streifens sind vorteilhaft miteinander verklebt ; es entsteht dadurch trotz Verwendung von dünnem Material ein kräftiges Band, bei dem die Einlagen längs den Kanten in ihrer Lage gesichert sind. Als Einlagen können z. B. lose gezwirnte Textilfasern, Hanf, Flachs usw., dann aber auch Papier verwen- det werden.
In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes schematisch dargestellt, und zwar zeigt :

Ein Streifenl aus dünnem, geschmeidigem Kunststoff, wie z. B. aus regenerierter Zellulose, ist in der Längsrichtung gefaltet. Längs den Kanten des entstandenen Bandes ist je eine Einlage 2 zur Erhöhung der Zugfestigkeit angeordnet. Als Einlage können lose ge drehte Textilfasern, wie Hanf, Flachs usw., Kunstseidenfasern oder auch Papiereinlagen Verwendung finden.
Die Ränder 3, 4 des Streifens 1 sind miteinander verklebt und die beiden Lagen 5 und 3, 4 des gefalteten Streifens sind ebenfalls miteinander verklebt so dass die Einlagen in ihrer Lage längs den Kanten festgelegt sind und ein knotbares Band entsteht.
Das Band könnte auch gauffriert oder gerippt sein, ferner kann das Band aus einer Rülle aus durchsichtigem Material, z. B. Zellulosefolie, bestehen, in welche eine weitere Einlage aus farbigem Material eingelegt ist, die zur weiteren Verstärkung des Bandes beitragen kann. Diese weitere Einlage könnte
