Description
Additional patent to main patent No. 2373.54. Furniture. The present invention is a piece of furniture with at least one pair of legs, which in pairs like two handlebars in one. Handlebar parallelogram are connected to each other. According to the invention, the pivoting movement of the legs is resiliently limited. The invention is particularly suitable for seating furniture of any kind.
The enclosed drawing shows three chairs as exemplary embodiments of the furniture according to the invention.
When the StuM according to Fig. 1, the two legs formed from leaf springs 1 and 1 'are shaped at their lower and upper ends to eyelets and like two links with a handlebar parallelograrmm around bolts 9, 10 respectively. 9r, 1'0 'pivoted. Over the eyelets projecting tabs of the leaf springs act to limit the pivoting movement of the legs 1 and 1 'with the stops stops 11-14 respectively. 1l'-14 'together. It is thereby possible to place the seat 2 in the direction of arrows I and II for.
B. against a work table or from .demichieben away. Four stops 12, 1-3 and 11 ', 14' respectively. 11, 14 and 12 ', 13' be limit the movement of the legs 1, 1 'after the one respectively. the other direction. The stops 13, 13 'can be formed as a height-adjustable bolt. This allows the suspension to be regulated in such a way that the two stops 12 and 1, 3 respectively. 12 'and 13' come into play one after the other.
The web of the foot 15, which has the two contact surfaces 11, 11 ', can also be height-adjustable, so that the legs are then at. uribastetem seat. against the stops 11. ', 1ss rest; in the event of a charge, a concern is sent to the viewing position 12; 14 'etc. The two stops 12 and 13 respectively. 12 'and 18' can however also be arranged in such a way that they come to act on the legs at the same time.
A spring 16 is tensioned when the seat surface moves in the direction of the arrow I. She strives. hold the chair in the marked position. In the execution company according to FIG. 2, the legs 1 and l 'themselves are rigidly formed and can be pivoted around points 3 of a stand surface 4, namely against the action of springs 5, which are supported against abutment 6.
In the case of the guide form according to FIG. 3, the legs 1 and 1 'are also made rigid and can be pivoted around points 3 of a standing surface 4. They are firmly connected to flaps 7 which, when the legs are pivoted, come across springs 8, which limit the pivoting movement as soon as they are completely compressed.
As resilient legs in a chair, according to Fib. 1 steel pipes could also be used. -
