Description

  

      Zusatzpatent    zum     Hauptpatent    Nr. 227981.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Trisazofarbstoffes.            Vorliegendes    Patent bezieht sich auf ein       Verfahren    zur     Herstellung    eines     Trisazofarb-          stoffes,    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man       1-Diazo-4-oxybenzol-3-carbonsäure        in        saurem     5 Medium mit     1-Aminonaphthalin-7-sulfonsäure     vereinigt,

   den erhaltenen und     weiterdiazotier-          ten        Monoazofarbstoff    in saurem Medium mit       1-Amino-2.5-dimethoxybenzol    vereinigt, den  erhaltenen     Disazofarbstoff        weiterdiazotiert    und       io    die     Diazoverbindung    in     alkalischem    Medium  mit     1-Acetylamino-6-oxynaphthalin-3-sulfon-          säure    vereinigt.  



  Der so erhaltene     Trisazofarbstoff    -ist ein  dunkles Pulver, das sich in konzentrierter       t5    Schwefelsäure mit grünschwarzer, in Wasser  mit dunkelvioletter Färbe löst und aus der       wässrigen    Lösung auf Zusatz von Natron  lauge als blauer Niederschlag gefällt wird,  und färbt     zellulosehaltige    Fasern in grün  2o grauen Farbtönen, die     durch    Nachbehandlung  mit Metallsalzen sehr gut wasch- und licht  echt werden.

           Beispiel:     Die     Diazoverbindung    des in saurem Me  dium hergestellten     Aminoazofarbstoffes    aus  15,3 Teilen     1-Amino-4-oxybenzol-3-carbon-          säure    und 22,3 Teilen -     1-Aminonaphthalin-          7-sulfonsäure        wird    in Gegenwart von über  schüssigem     Natriumacetat    mit 15,3 Teilen       1-Amino-2,5-dimethoxybenzol    vereinigt,

   der  erhaltene     Disazofarbstoff        wird        weiterdiazotiert     und die     Diazoverbindung    in Gegenwart von  überschüssigem     Natriumcarbonat        und        Pyridin     mit 37,9 Teilen     1-Acetylamino-6-oxynaphtha-          lin-3-sulfonsäure    vereinigt. Der erhaltene Farb  stoff wird abgeschieden und     getrocknet.

The present patent relates to a process for the production of a trisazo dye, characterized in that 1-diazo-4-oxybenzene-3-carboxylic acid is combined with 1-aminonaphthalene-7-sulfonic acid in an acidic medium,

   the obtained and further diazotized monoazo dye is combined with 1-amino-2,5-dimethoxybenzene in an acid medium, the disazo dye obtained is further diazotized and the diazo compound is combined in an alkaline medium with 1-acetylamino-6-oxynaphthalene-3-sulfonic acid.



  The trisazo dye obtained in this way is a dark powder which dissolves in concentrated t5 sulfuric acid with a greenish-black color and in water with a dark violet color and is precipitated from the aqueous solution as a blue precipitate on the addition of sodium hydroxide solution, and dyes cellulose-containing fibers in green 20-gray shades which are very washable and lightfast after treatment with metal salts.

           Example: The diazo compound of the aminoazo dye prepared in acidic medium from 15.3 parts of 1-amino-4-oxybenzene-3-carboxylic acid and 22.3 parts - 1-aminonaphthalene-7-sulfonic acid is in the presence of excess sodium acetate with 15.3 parts of 1-amino-2,5-dimethoxybenzene combined,

   the disazo dye obtained is further diazotized and the diazo compound is combined with 37.9 parts of 1-acetylamino-6-oxynaphthaline-3-sulfonic acid in the presence of excess sodium carbonate and pyridine. The dye obtained is deposited and dried.

Claims

PATENT CLAIM: A process for the preparation of a trisazo dye, characterized in that 1-diazo-4-oxybenzene-3-carboxylic acid is combined with 1-amizionaphthalene-7-sulfonic acid in an acidic medium and the monoazo dye obtained and further diazotized in an acidic medium 1-amino- \ 2.

-5-dimethoxy benzene combined, the disazo dye obtained is further diazotized and the diazo compound is combined with 1-acetylamino-6-oxynaplitlialin-3-sulfonic acid in an alkaline medium.

The Trisazofa.rbstolf obtained in this way is a dark powder that dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a greenish-black color, in water with a dark purple color and is precipitated from the aqueous solution as a blue precipitate on the addition of sodium hydroxide solution, and dyes cellulose-containing fibers in green-gray shades, which are very washable and lightfast after treatment with metal salts.
