Description
Device for dehumidifying walls. The subject of the present invention forms a device for dehumidifying walls, in which two clay pipes open at the front are arranged at an angle to each other in the wall and are connected to one another at the rear ends so that continuous air circulation through both clay pipes is possible.
As a result of this continuous air circulation through both clay pipes, a significantly better dehumidifying effect is achieved compared to previously known devices in which only one clay pipe closed at the rear is inserted into the wall.
On the accompanying drawing, an embodiment of the subject of the invention is @shown.
Fig. 1 shows a longitudinal section of the device and F'ig. 2 shows a cross section of the same along line II-II in FIG. 1.
In the wall 1 two clay pipes 2, 3 are inserted in such a way that they: form an angle to each other. These clay pipes 2, 3 have ribs that are sawtooth-shaped in cross section on three outer sides.
4 to enlarge their, outer surface and they are divided into two adjacent channels each by a vertical partition 5, whereby the partition 5 increases the moisture absorption surface.
The two clay pipes 2, 3 are open at the front and butt against each other at their rear ends, with Üle end surfaces 6 being beveled in such a way that the opposing side walls are shortened.
This creates here in connection with a U-shaped from sehlusskappe 7 a cavity through which the two clay pipes 2; 3 are connected to each other. As a result of this connection, a strong @ continuous air circulation through both clay pipes 2, 3 is possible,
as indicated in Fig. 1 with arrows. Such an air circulation would also be achieved if the upper clay tube 2 sstatfb were arranged horizontally inclined downwards or even inclined less than the clay tube 3 upwards, or if that:
lower Tonrehr 3 would be arranged horizontally. The rear wall of the end cap i is made particularly thick in order to obtain thermal insulation from the interior of the building.
Instead of each: clay pipe? 3 consisting of two channels subdivided by a partition 5, it could also have only one channel or more than two channels.
Instead of being smooth on the inside as shown, at least one of the inner walls could be slightly grooved. Furthermore, the two clay pipes can be made in one piece, where the closing flap is also omitted.
