Elektrischer Gasanzünder. Auf der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungs beispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes im Längsschnitt veranschaulicht.
Der Gasanzünder weist einen aus Isolier material bestehenden Griff 1 auf, aus dessen einem Ende ein metallischer Stab 2 und aus dessen anderem Ende eine einadrige Lei tungsschnur 3 heraustritt. Die Leitungs schnur weist an ihrem freien Ende einen Stecker 4 auf. Im Innern des Griffes sind zwei metallische Stücke 5, 5a eingebaut; das Stück 5a ist mit dem Stab 2 und das Stück 5 mit der Ader der Leitungsschnur 3 verbun den. Im Stück 5 ist eine Kontaktfeder 6 be festigt, die durch einen aus Isoliermaterial bestehenden Knopf 7, der von Hand bedient wird, betätigt werden kann. Die Feder 6 kann so den elektrischen Strom ein- und aus schalten.
Zum Anzünden einer Gasflamme wird der Anzünder in folgender Weise ver wendet: Der Stecker 4 wird- an eine elektri sche Stromquelle, zum Beispiel über einen sekundär einpolig geerdeten, kurzschlussfesteu Transformator an die elektrische Lichtleitung angeschlossen. Darauf wird der Stab 2 an der Gasaustrittsstelle mit dem Brenner, der in irgendeiner Weise geerdet sein muss, ab wechselnd in Berührung gebracht und von ihm abgehoben, wobei gleichzeitig der Knopf 7 gedrückt wird. Die zwischen Brenner und Stab entstehenden Funken bewirken eine Endzündung des Gases.

To light a gas flame, the igniter is used in the following way: The plug 4 is connected to an electrical power source, for example via a secondary single-pole earthed, short-circuit-proof transformer to the electrical light line. The rod 2 is then alternately brought into contact at the gas outlet point with the burner, which must be grounded in some way, and lifted from it, the button 7 being pressed at the same time. The sparks produced between the burner and the rod cause the gas to ignite.
