Description
Kathodenisolator. Die Herstellung grosser Kathodenisolato ren aus keramischem Material ist schwierig. Man hat daher derartige Isolatoren aus Seg menten zusammengesetzt, die einander über lappen oder sich unmittelbar an den Kanten berühren, was genaue Schleifarbeit und einen Ring zum Zusammenhalten benötigt.
Gemäss vorliegender Erfindung, die sich auf aus Isolationsplatten zusammengesetzte Kathodenisolatoren für Grossgleichrichter be zieht, werden die einzelnen Platten durch elektrisch isolierendeZwischenstücke gehalten.
Die beiliegende Zeichnung zeigt schema tisch zwei Ausführungsbeispiele des Erfin dungsgegenstandes. Beim Beispiel Fig. 1 setzt sich der Kathodenisolator aus ebenen Platten 1 zusammen, die durch elektrisch isolierende Zwischenstücke 2 zusammenge halten werden. Beim Beispiel Fig. 2 sind gekrümmte Platten verwendet. Je nach Wahl und Zusammensetzung der Platten lassen sich so beliebige, dem Zweck angepasste Quer schnitte für Kathodenisolatoren formen.

In the example of Fig. 1, the cathode insulator is composed of flat plates 1, which are held together by electrically insulating spacers 2. In the example of Fig. 2, curved plates are used. Depending on the choice and composition of the plates, any desired cross-sections for cathode insulators can be formed.
