      Zusatzpatent    zum Hauptpatent Nr. 200368.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen     Azofarbstob%s.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen       Azofarbstoff    erhält, wenn man den     Mono-          azofarbstoff    aus     diazotiertem    1 -     Amino    - 4     -          cinnamoylaminobenzol    und     2-Amino-8-oxy-          naphthalin-6-sulfonsäure    in Gegenwart einer  tertiären Base und mit 2     Mol        Benzoesäure-          3-sulfochlorid    behandelt.

   Der neue Farbstoff  bildet ein braunes Pulver; er färbt Baum  wolle aus     natriumcarbonathaltigem    Bade rot.  Er stellt ein zweimal     sulfobenzoyliertes    De  rivat des Ausgangsfarbstoffes dar.    <I>Beispiel:</I>    10 Teile des     Azofarbstoffes    aus     diazo-          tiertem        1-Amino-4-cinnamoylaminobenzol    und       2-Amino-8-oxynaphthalin-6-sulfonsäure    (al  kalisch gekuppelt) werden in 100 Teilen       Pyridin    mit 17,6 Teilen     Benzoesäure-3-sulfo-          ehlorid    während 3 bis 4 Stunden bei<B>100'</B>  erhitzt.  



  Hierauf wird das     Pyridin    im Vakuum ab  destilliert, der Rückstand im Wasser gelöst    und mit verdünnter     Natriumkarbonatlösimg     neutralisiert. Das Reaktionsprodukt wird mit       Natriumchlorid        ausgesalzen,    abgesaugt     und     getrocknet. Der neue Farbstoff stellt ein  braunes     Pulver    dar, das Baumwolle rot an  färbt.

  The pyridine is then distilled off in vacuo, the residue is dissolved in water and neutralized with dilute sodium carbonate solution. The reaction product is salted out with sodium chloride, filtered off with suction and dried. The new dye is a brown powder that turns cotton red.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Azofarbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man den Azofarbstoff aus diazotiertem 1- Amino - 4 - cinnamoylaminobenzol und 2- Amino-8-oxynaphthalin-6-sulfonsäure in Ge genwart einer tertiären Base und mit 2 Mol Benzoesäure-3-sulfochlorid behandelt. Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein braunes Pulver, das Baumwolle aus natriumcarbonat- haltigem Bade rot anfärbt.
