  <B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 200369.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     güpenfarbstoffes.       Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich auf ein  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Küpenfarb-          stoffes,    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man ein  funktionelles Derivat der     Diphenylazodiphe-          nyl-4,        V-dicarbonsäure    mit     1-Aminoantbrachi-          non    im     Molekularverhältnis    1:2 kondensiert.  



  Der so erhaltene     Farbstoff    löst sich in  konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit bräunlich-    roter Farbe     und    färbt Baumwolle aus vio  letter     Küpe    in sehr echten gelben Tönen.  



       Beispiel:     In eine auf 160   C erhitzte Lösung von  46 Teilen     1-Aminoanthrachinon    in 500 Teilen       o-Dichlorbenzol    trägt man langsam 46 Teile       Diphenylazodiphenyl    - 4, 4' -     dicarbonsäuredi-          chlorid    von der Formel:

    ein. Das Kondensationsprodukt fällt fast voll  ständig aus und wird nach etwa einstündigem  Rühren bei 160   C abgesaugt, gewaschen  und getrocknet.  



  Das verwendete     Säuredichlorid    kann bei  spielsweise aus der entsprechenden     Dicarbon-          säure    mit Hilfe von     Phosphorpentachlorid    er  halten werden. Er kristallisiert in roten Na  deln vom Schmelzpunkt 250   C. Die     Diphenyl-          azodiphenyl-4,        4'-dicarbonsäure    kann durch  Reduktion von     4-Nitrodiphenyl-4'-carbonsäure     mit Hilfe von Traubenzucker hergestellt wer  den.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Küpen- farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man ein funktionelles Derivat der Diphenylazo- diphenyl-4, 4'-dicarbonsäure mit 1-Amino- anthrachinon im Molekularverhältnis 1: 2 kon densiert. Der so erhaltene Farbstoff löst sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit bräunlich roter Farbe und färbt Baumwolle aus violet ter Küpe in sehr echten gelben Tönen.
