Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Polymethinfarbstoifes. In der Hauptanmeldung ist ein Verfahren zur Tierstellung eines neuen Polymethin- farbstoffes beschrieben, bei dem man 1,3,3- Trimethyl-2-methylenindolin-co-aldehyd in Gegenwart eines sauren Kondensationsmittels mit p-Phenylendiamin umsetzt.
Es wurde nun gefunden, dass man eben falls einen neuen wertvollen Polymethinfarb- stoff erhält, wenn man 1,3,3-Trimethyl-2-ine- thylenindolin-co-aldehyd in Gegenwart-'eines sauren Kondensationsmittels mit 4,4'-Diä- thoxydiphenylamin umsetzt.
Der neue Farbstoff ähnelt den.-:äsiscben Triphenylmethanfarbstoffen der Auräminreibe. Er ist gut wasserlöslich und zeichnet sich durch ausgezeichnete Klarheit und sehr gute Lichtechtheit seiner Färbungen aus. Durch Sulfonierung kann man den Farbstoff in einen wertvollen sauren Farbstoff überführen.
<I>Beispiel:</I> Zu einer Lösung von 13 Teilen 4,4'- Diäthoxydiphenylamin und 10,5 Teilen 1,3,3- Trimethyl-2-methylenindolin-co-aldehyd in 90 Teilen Benzol lässt man 8 Teile Phosphor- oxyehlorid zulaufen, wobei die Temperatur auf etwa 40 C ansteigt. Nach einstündigem Rühren trägt man die Mischung in 200 Teile Wasser ein und treibt das Benzol mit Was serdampf ab. Die Farbstofflösung wird heiss filtriert und der nach dem Erkalten aus kristallisierte Farbstoff abgesaugt, mit Koch salzlösung gewaschen und im Vakuum ge trocknet. Er färbt tannierte Baumwolle in gelben Tönen von sehr guter Lichtechtheit.
Process for the preparation of a polymethine dye. The main application describes a process for producing a new polymethine dye, in which 1,3,3-trimethyl-2-methyleneindoline-co-aldehyde is reacted with p-phenylenediamine in the presence of an acidic condensing agent.
It has now been found that a new, valuable polymethine dye is also obtained if 1,3,3-trimethyl-2-inethyleneindoline-co-aldehyde is used in the presence of an acidic condensing agent with 4,4'-diet - Reacts thoxydiphenylamine.
The new dye is similar to the triphenyl methane dyes of the auric grater. It is readily soluble in water and its dyeings are characterized by excellent clarity and very good lightfastness. The dye can be converted into a valuable acidic dye by sulfonation.
<I> Example: </I> 8 parts of phosphorus are added to a solution of 13 parts of 4,4'-diethoxydiphenylamine and 10.5 parts of 1,3,3-trimethyl-2-methyleneindoline-co-aldehyde in 90 parts of benzene - Oxyehlorid run in, whereby the temperature rises to about 40 C. After stirring for one hour, the mixture is introduced into 200 parts of water and the benzene is driven off with steam. The dye solution is filtered hot and the dye which has crystallized out after cooling is filtered off with suction, washed with sodium chloride solution and dried in vacuo. It dyes tannin cotton in yellow shades of very good lightfastness.
