  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Schwefelfarbstoffes.    Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich auf ein  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Schwefel  farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man  das     Leukoindophenol    der Formel:

  Der neue Schwefelfarbstoff ist ein schwar  zes Pulver, das sich in     conc.    Schwefelsäure  mit     grünstichig-blauer    Farbe löst. Er     färbt,     die pflanzliche Faser aus     schwefelnatrium-          haltigem    Bade in grünen Tönen.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  10 Teile des     Leukoindophenols,    erhältlich  zum Beispiel aus     N-Ogyäthyl-a-naphthylamin     und     Chinonohlorimin    nach bekanntem Ver  fahren, werden mit 18 Teilen Schwefelnatrium       conc.    und 22 Teilen Schwefel unter Zusatz  von 6 Teilen Kupfersulfat in<B>75</B> Teilen Butyl-         alkohol    mehrere Stunden unter     Rückfluss    ge  kocht. Dann wird der     Butylalkohol        abdestil-          liert    und die Schmelze wie im Hauptpatent  beschrieben aufgearbeitet.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Schwefel farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man das Leukoindophenol der Formel: EMI0001.0024 unter Zusatz von Kupfersulfat mit schwefelnd wirkenden Mitteln behandelt. Der neue Schwefelfarbstoff ist ein schwar zes Pulver, das sich in conc. Schwefelsäure mit grünstichig-blauer Farbe löst. Er färbt die pflanzliche Faser aus schwefelnatrium- haltigem Bade in grünen Tönen.
