Description
Fig. 1 und.
Device for switching on hless instruments in electrical circuits without interrupting operation. In electrical installations, it is often desirable to temporarily switch control instruments into the circuits. If it concerns current measuring devices, special precautions are necessary so that it is possible to switch on the measuring instrument without interrupting operation.
The subject of the present invention is a device for switching on measuring instruments in circuits without operational interruption with a plug for connecting the measuring device and a base carrying the connecting terminals, which is characterized by two movable short-circuit bridges.
Fig. 1 and. 2 of the accompanying drawings show the elevation and floor plan of an exemplary embodiment of the invention.
The base m made of insulating material carries the two clamping pieces c for connecting the inlet and outlet lines. The connection between the two clamping pieces is made either through the two short-circuit bridges i or l or through the plug a. The contact pressure of the upper bridge i is generated by tightening the screw g, the thread e of which engages in the nut f, which is firmly seated in the base. The lower bridge l is pressed against the clamping pieces by coil springs.
The connection of the measuring instrument he follows by means of de connector a, whose contact fingers b fit into corresponding holes in the clamping pieces c.
The short-circuit bridges are released by loosening the screw g, whereby the screw head provided with thread d with the nut thread in part h: of the plug comes into a grip. When loosening the screw g further, the plug is now drawn into the Klem men per turn by the difference between the two slopes of the screws d and e, while the bridge i is lifted at the same time. After a few rounds you will see the pins k against 1. whereupon the second bridge is also lifted and the measuring instrument is switched on.
The plug is locked in this position with the base and can only be removed again after the screw g is tightened, but before taking over the direct connection between the terminals at the bridges i and 1 again.
The device described has the advantage that incorrect manipulations as a result of inattention are completely excluded.
