Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen bl(onoazofarbstoffes. Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft die Her stellung eines neuen Monoazofarbstoffes, wel cher auf Wolle gelbe, intensivem Waschen, Walken und Licht in ausgezeichneter Weise widerstehende Töne erzeugt.
Gemäss vorliegendem Verfahren wird der Farbstoff durch Kuppeln von dianotiertem Dodecyl-m-aminobenzoat mit 1-(4'-Sulfophe- nyl)-3-methyl-5-pyrazolon erhalten.
Beispiel: 30,5 Gewichtsteile Dodecyl-rn-aminoben- zoat werden als Suspension in 250 Gewichts- teilen Wasser und 26 Gewichtsteilen 36 %- iger Salzsäure durch Zugabe von 7 Gewichts teilen Natriumnitrit dianotiert.
Die gebildete Diazosuspension fügt man zu einer gekühlten, wässerigen Lösung (5 0 C.) von 25,4 Gewichts teilen 1-(4'.Sulfophenyl).3-methyl-5-pyrazolon, die während des Zusetzens mittels Soda gegen Lackmus alkalisch gehalten wird. Die Kupp lungsreaktion geht rasch von statten.
Der neue, so erhaltene Farbstoff wird mit 5 % Salz (Gewicht. für Volumen) ausgesalzen, abfiltriert und au ^gendeine geeignete Weise getrock- net. Er bildet ein rötlichgelbes Pulver, wel ches mit heissem Wasser eine gelbe Lösung gibt und sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit grünlichgelber Farbe löst.
Der neue Farb stoff erzeugt auf Wolle gelbe Töne, die bei Anwendung eines 2/o Ammonazetat ent haltenden Farbbades, intensivem Waschen, Walken und Licht in ausgezeichneter Weise widerstehen.
