Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Kondensationsproduktes der An±hraehinonreihe. Es wurde gefunden, dass sich in Gegen wart alkalischer Kondensationsmittel primäre Amine mit solchen Anthrachinonderivaten umsetzen lassen, die am Anthrachinonkern einen oder mehrere Benzolkerne angeglieder enthalten.
Die Reaktion erfolgt wahrscheinlich in der Weise, dass sich die Aminogruppe der einen Reaktionskomponente mit einem Kohlen- stoffatom des Benzoanthrachinons unter Bil dung eines sekundären Amins umsetzt.
Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich nun auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Konden sationsproduktes der Anthrachinonreihe, da durch gekennzeichnet, dass man p -Toluidin in Gegenwart eines alkalischen Kondensations mittels mit 1.2-Benzoanthrachinon umsetzt.
Das Kondensationsprodukt stellt einen roten Körper dar, der sich in konz. Schwefel säure oliv löst. Es färbt Baumwolle aus orangeroter Küpe in rosa Tönen. <I>Beispiel:</I> 5 Teile 1.2-Benzoanthrachinon, 10 Teile p-Toluidin und 20 Teile Ätzkali werden in 70 Teile Pyridin eingetragen, etwa 3 Stun den bei Zimmertemperatur gerührt und dann die ganze Masse in verdünnte Salzsäure ein getragen. Das abgeschiedene Reaktionspro dukt wird durch Auskochen mit Methylalkohol gereinigt.

The reaction probably takes place in such a way that the amino group of one reaction component reacts with a carbon atom of the benzoanthraquinone to form a secondary amine.
The present patent now relates to a process for the preparation of a condensation product of the anthraquinone series, characterized in that p -toluidine is reacted in the presence of an alkaline condensation by means of 1,2-benzoanthraquinone.
The condensation product is a red body that is in conc. Solvents sulfuric acid olive. It dyes cotton from an orange-red vat in pink tones. <I> Example: </I> 5 parts of 1,2-benzoanthraquinone, 10 parts of p-toluidine and 20 parts of caustic potash are added to 70 parts of pyridine, stirred for about 3 hours at room temperature and then the whole mass is added to dilute hydrochloric acid. The deposited reaction product is purified by boiling with methyl alcohol.
