Description

Process for the preparation of a new cellulose solution. It has been found that the oxide of triethylamine has the surprising property of dissolving the cellulose with the formation of solutions of higher or lower viscosity. The cellulose can be extracted from the solution prepared in this way by suitable precipitation agents, such as e.g. B. water, alcohol, dilute acids, etc., are deposited again, whereby, depending on the chosen conditions, synthetic threads, films, synthetic materials, etc. can be obtained. May) can start from raw, bleached or regenerated cellulose.

These types of cellulose can be used in a colored or undyed state. The cellulose solution can also bezw suitable dyes. In dyes convertible products added who the z. B. when regenerating the Zellu loose even be converted into dyes. Such products are e.g. B. the sulfuric acid ester of the leuco derivatives of vat dyes; also those esters of oxy-containing, water-insoluble dyes, the esters of which contain residual solubilizing groups, such as.

   B. the ester, which is obtained by allowing chlorides of disulfobenzoic acid to act in the presence of pyridine on the azo dye from dianotized 4,4'-dichloro-2-amino-1,1-diphenyl ether and the o-anisidide of 2,3-oxynaphthoic acid.

<I> Example: </I> 7 parts of cotton linters are poured with 93 parts of Ti-iäthylarniiroxyd, kneaded well and heated to <B> 50-70 "</B> with constant stirring. The linters gradually dissolve, whereby a highly viscous cellulose solution is obtained which separates the cellulose again by pouring or spinning in an aqueous precipitation bath.
