Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines wasserlöslichen, komplex gebundenes Kupfer enthaltenden Farbstoffpräparates. Es wurde gefunden, dass ein wasserlös liches, komplex gebundenes Kupfer enthal-

ein kupferabgebendes Mittel, sowie Diätha- nolaminoessigsäure aufeinander einwirken lässt.
Das so erhaltene wasserlösliche, komplex gebundenes Kupfer enthaltende Farbstoff präparat stellt ein graues Pulv er dar, das in Wasser löslich ist; demgegenüber ist die komplexe Kupferverbindung, die aus dem selben Azofarbstoff durch Behandeln mit einem kupferabgebenden Mittel in Abwesen heit von Diäthanolaminoessigsäure L\uOC2H4/2 - N-CH2-COV11J tendes Farbstoffpräparat erhalten werden kann, wenn man den Azofarbstoff der Formel hergestellt wird, in Wasser unlöslich.
Das Farbstoffpräparat eignet sich insbesondere zum Färben von zellulosehaltigem Material, wie zum Beispiel Baumwolle, Kunstseide aus regenerierter Zellulose, Papier, Kokosfaser und Jute; beim Färben. wird aus dem'Farb- stoffpräparat Diäthanolaminoessigsäure ab gespalten, und es werden sehr echte, insbe sondere wasch- und lichtechte blaue Färbun gen erhalten.
Das Verfahren kann beispielsweise der art durchgeführt werden, dass man zuerst den Azofarbstoff obiger Formel mit dem kupfer- abgebenden Mittel reagieren lässt und dann auf die gebildete Kupferverbindung Di- äthanolaminoessigsäure einwirken lässt.
Beispiel: 10 Teile des Natronsalzfarbstoffes der Formel
