Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Textilhilfsmittels. Es wurde gefunden, dass man ein neues Textilhilfsmittel erhält, wenn man m-Amino- cyclohexanol mit Laurinsäurechlorid behan delt und das so -erhältliche Produkt mit kon- zentrierter Schwefelsäure umsetzt. Nach der Neutralisation bildet das neue Produkt in trockenem Zustande ein weisses Pulver, das sich in Wasser leicht löst. Die wässerige Lösung zeigt ein hohes Netz-, Emulgier- und Waschvermögen.
Beispiel: 24 Teile m-Aminocyclohexanol werden in 100 Teilen 4fach normaler wässeriger Na triumacetatlösung gelöst und unter Eisküh lung und gutem Rühren mit 42 Teilen Laurinsäurechlorid versetzt. Es entsteht eine dicke Fällung. Die Masse wird nun langsam unter starkem Rühren erwärmt, bis sie, sich etwas zusammengeballt hat und filtrierbar wird. Sie wird nun abfiltriert und mit Was ser gewaschen und getrocknet.
Das so er haltene Produkt bildet ein weisses Pulver, das in Wasser unlöslich ist. 20 Teile des Produktes werden unter Rühren bei Zimmer temperatur in 100 Teile 96 bis 98 %ige Schwefelsäure eingetragen und so lange ver rührt, bis die Masse in Wasser löslich ist. Man giesst nun in eine Kältemischung, trennt die ausgeschiedene Masse vom Wasser, zum Beispiel .durch Filtrieren. Das Produkt wird nun mit Alkalien, zum Beispiel Natriumoar- bonat, neutralisiert und eingetrocknet, es kann auch als wässerige Paste verwendet werden. Das Salz bildet in trockenem Zu stande ein weisses Pulver, das sieh in Was ser leicht löst.

It has been found that a new textile auxiliary is obtained if m-amino-cyclohexanol is treated with lauric acid chloride and the product thus obtainable is reacted with concentrated sulfuric acid. After neutralization, the new product forms a white powder when dry, which easily dissolves in water. The aqueous solution shows high wetting, emulsifying and washing power.
Example: 24 parts of m-aminocyclohexanol are dissolved in 100 parts of 4-fold normal aqueous sodium acetate solution, and 42 parts of lauric acid chloride are added with ice cooling and thorough stirring. A thick precipitate is formed. The mass is now slowly heated while stirring vigorously until it has clumped a little and can be filtered. It is then filtered off and washed with water and dried.
The product obtained in this way forms a white powder that is insoluble in water. 20 parts of the product are introduced into 100 parts of 96 to 98% strength sulfuric acid with stirring at room temperature and the mixture is stirred until the mass is soluble in water. It is then poured into a cold mixture, the precipitated mass is separated from the water, for example by filtering. The product is then neutralized with alkalis, for example sodium carbonate, and dried. It can also be used as an aqueous paste. When dry, the salt forms a white powder that dissolves easily in water.
