Description
Pflanzenschutzhut.
The subject of the invention is a plant protection hat which has a hood in the form of a funnel that is open at the top and bottom and tapering at the top, on the wall of which a wooden stick projecting downwards and to be inserted into the ground is attached.
The hat is mainly intended to protect strawberry plantations against the intrusion of pests and from cold, wet weather and to promote the ripening of the strawberry plantations. However, it can also be used for any other planting that requires protection from the weather and protection against the intrusion of certain garden pests.
The subject of the invention is shown in an example in the drawing.
To manufacture the protective hat, a flat, rollable sheet 1 shown in FIG. 1 is expediently assumed. By rolling up the latter, the two edges 2 are brought over one another and mitein other and firmly connected to the wooden stick 3, for example by means of nails. The semicircular edges 4 and 5 are formed into ge closed opening edges (Fig. 3).
The upper opening formed from the edge 4 is smaller than the lower opening, the edge 5 of which comes to rest on the floor. The opening 6 is used to renew the air. The practical square wooden stick 3 is advantageously at least 8 cm longer than the edges 2. It does not protrude above the funnel.
The finished hat is shown in FIG. 2 in a side view, in FIG. 3 in a top view, while FIG. 4 shows the hat in use in perspective.
The funnel is expediently made of transparent wire glass. This wired glass is weatherproof and has the property of allowing the sun's ultraviolet rays to pass through. is only conducive to the ripening of the plants; The funnel can of course also consist of any other suitable, expediently translucent material.
